| Haha, that was pretty cool, how they disguised it as a Marine ship, and then when they crashed into the ship in front of them, it broke apart and revealed it was the pirate ship. :3 |

I love how they all greet him as Condoriano as well...he ain't never gonna live that name down XD Lmao at Sanji holding onto Nami like the love struck teenage girl he so obviously is- "your expressions of love are dynamic!" Looks like next ep is the last one of this little arc, it's definitely been fun :) |

| The Shepard scenes make me laugh so hard. When he shows up to catch the Straw Hats and they all call him Condriano and still treat him like a member, especially when he blasted the bazooka the wrong way and Usopp yelled “WAY TO GO, CONDRIANO!” I lost it. Mechao brought up my concern about the Navarone getting heavily punished. I wonder if the writers will circumvent this somehow, seeing that Jessica, Mecha and his daughter, and the commander are all so likable. Robins power is weird. It’s not very well established yet. We’ve seen that sometimes she can’t carry things because they’re too heavy, but could she not spawn more arms to make it easier on herself? We’ve seen her arms can get hurt and in turn hurt her but we haven’t explored this yet. My issue this episode was, while they were surrounded in the vault could she have not hid where Usopp did and spawn 100 arms all over the Navarone navy men and snap their necks? What’s stopping her from this. Something I loved was how the Navarone and specifically their strategies are so good! We see the commander arming everyone with sea prism nets, and we saw one of their best units try to bait Luffy’s arms to stretch and cut them off. These are amazing and sound strategies that literally everyone should be doing. I appreciate this navy base. Looks like Nami’s navigator skills will be tested for their escape. |
| Condoriano being a complete moron that's more dangerous to his own troops than the Straw Hats was very amusing to watch. Nami cooking up a thunder cloud to zap everyone who had guns pointing at her was really cool too! It looks like the tides of battle have changed in more ways than one... I wonder how they'll get the ship out of that situation. I'm curious on whether they'll find out about that mysterious being that repaired the ship too. |

| I really liked the commander. I know it’s a filler arc but hope he returns at some point. It will be interesting to see his final plan and how they escape. And what his reaction to it will be. |
| Condoraino how dare you attack your fellow crew members like that! They were just trying to escape why aren't you doing the same as them? Then again Luffy and the others always knew he was a lousy shot with a bazooka. XD All joking aside there is nothing that hasn't already been said about Inspector Shepherd I mean he's just utterly hilarious every time he's onscreen and probably the most incompetent at "capturing the Straw Hats". So incompetent that he basically rendered Commander Johnathon's plan to surround the Straw Hats useless. I think the fact that the Straw Hats themselves disguised the Going Merry as a Marine warship and have it crash into the marines as part of the disguise was a stroke of genius for me. That way the base wouldn't be able to figure out it was them. Speaking of Commander Johnathon, I have to say he's probably one of my favourite Marine characters I mean the guy is just a strategic genius always one step ahead of Luffy and his crew and seems to a worthy opponent for them. And for a character who's only supposed to be in a filler arc, he has so much depth compared to the typical Marine who gets easily outwitted by the Straw Hats I mean I honestly want to see Commander Johnathon in future episodes but that might not happen but we'll see, we'll see. For now we are nearing the end of this arc in question. This arc has been tons of fun for me and it's definitely been the best in terms of filler in One Piece for sure. Otherwise great episode overall. |
