| I'm in search for some "random" and/or "stupid" anime that don't really have an epic storyline or any confusing plot twists and such. I just want to watch something to relax after work and I've noticed that these kind of anime work best. anime like "plastic nee-san" "ai mai mi" and even "k-on" or "FLCL" fit my criteria well :) it would also help if the episodes were short :p I'm also watching "lucky star" at the moment which is great for what I want it but it's gonna be over soon so I thought I should get a head start on finding my next anime :) thanks in advance! |

| I just finished double j and well....I can safely say it was stupid and random lol I was just expecting it to be a bit more funny as I thought that stupid and random went hand to hand with funny... I'll check out the rest of your recommendations when I get home,thanks guys :) |
| Haiyore! Nyaruko-san Ben To Nyan Koi Also if you haven't watched it, Nichijou. It's the funniest and most random anime I've ever watched. Also Seto no Hanayome, although there's some sort of plot going but it's very random. |

| I watched 12 episodes of yurumates 3d earlier and I liked it a lot...it had an almost perfect balance of stupid,funny and fast pace :) anything more like that maybe? I'll finish the series once I get back home and check the rest of your recommendations |
| finished yurumates and I liked it a whole lot,very close to what I wanted :) I think I'm liking this trend of short animes that last 3-5 minutes per episodes. they have just the right amount of randomness and fast paced scenes to keep you occupied. are there any other short animes? |
