Not sure you'll see this as you posted years ago and I am only now getting to this chapter, I don't think his Mom (Mum for me I'm English ^_~) is a bitch, I think that she wasn't able to raise him on her own and her only option was to let him live with his father, but part of the deal was that she wasn't aloud any contact because what would happen if the press found out about it, what with his father and uncles jobs. Just what I feel from reading unto and including this chapter, It might go more into it but in later chapters but I am not there yet lol
