| I want to watch anime with memorable warrior characters, in other words an anime that has memorable soldiers, mercenaries, assassins etc. The characters can have a strong sense of justice or code of honor, they can be pessimistic or even be sadistic killers as long as the story and characters themselves are great. The anime itself can be anything from a Gunfight,Sword Battles, Supernatural, Fantasy, or Sci-Fi. I would prefer if the anime had a darker story. NO MECHA!! | I'm enjoying Fate/Zero so far and I'm done with the first season and I know I'm gonna get hate for admitting this but I'm gonna wait for season two to be dubbed before I start watching it again, don't get me wrong it's not like I dislike subs but when the english dub versions are good enough I just simply can't accept subtitles. Anything else worth a watch? Claymore and Noir are both in my plan to watch for now and I'll watch Attack on Titan when it's done airing. |

| I know you guys are trying to tell me that Gurren Lagann is an exception but i really just can't stand Mecha for some reason, I'm willing to try it out but I'm just pretty sure I'll end up finding it boring since I like pretty much everything about Full Metal Panic except for the fact that it has giant robots in it which is why I stopped watching it after a few episodes a while back... I'm not really that into Sci-Fi either but it's watchable especially if it's anything like Gintama. |

| Okay, since I know very well what you mean about mecha, I was like this as well some time ago, I won't spam you with things you've specifically said you don't want to watch. Here are my suggestions Canaan (very much like Jormungand) Darker than Black (a lot of odd justice in the MC and secondaries) GetBackers (the Lighting King is weird when it comes to understanding of life, responsibilities and justice) Hellsing K ( has a samurai, gang bosses and policemen - all of them with their own way of doing 'rightful' things and solving the mystery around a certain death) Peacemaker Kurogane (the Shinsengumi) Vampire hunter D Wolf's Rain That's all I can see from what comes up when comparing our lists :) |
