| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Conan pulled some sly moves there, Takagi just wasn't fast enough to get there in time. Damn why did that guy have to run haha.... Well, all worked out in the end but that was some last minute moves. I wonder what Conan whispered.. |
| My understanding is that he told Araide to stand at the door to make it look like Takagi was there since Conan could only fake the voice, I don't think there's more to it |

| Not bad. :P I liked the last part. The mystery was decent but too easy to guess. |

| Didn't end up liking the case. How he was able to solve it was out of our knowledge. How were we supposed to know the master didn't wear glasses before and they were those tinted glasses. Other things like that made the case feel messy. |

Now Takagi....HOW INCOMPETENT CAN YOU BE?!?! You caught the game but don't handcuff him to the freaking car and allow him to run?! You idiot!! Thanks to Conan pulling out the save you get the girl....maybe. Ugh that just frustrated me to no end. Oh well, the Season 9 case has been closed. |

| One of the weaker metro love story cases. They're usually more interesting/intense. |
| There were so many lines not translated and just translated plain wrong lol. I am excited to make it to the 700s when crunchyroll takes over. I've found Kaze no Koe to be pretty good for these early episodes. Sadly Detective Conan Translation Project [DCTP] stopped making subs for this. |

Ah sorry yes you could be right if it was by Kaizou Fansubs. They can range from being decent to just plain bad. I thought my version was by Kaze no Koe but I was wrong. Sorry about that. |

And yeah, I've noticed most groups have a huge variety in the quality of their subs depending on the episode. Some groups known as "bad" have some pretty good episodes, and some groups known as "good" screw the pooch. Probably depends on who translated or edited it, idk ahah. I mean even with a bad translation you can still get the gist so its okay. |

| The dude in black is there, I thought there was going to be something epic. and... I think Sato has now realized she has feelings for Takagi, not sure. Poor inspector tho... almost had it. |

| Ngl this might be the most infuriating metropolitan love story episode, how come takagi act like so klutz after getting that much of hint from none other than great detective shinichi kudo. Sonoko was kinda annoying but miwako sato was worse like knowing you'll be on verge of crying yet you bother taking a bet like that....fortunately this bad romance writing can be forgiven thanks to the unexpected character development from araida-sensei. |
