| Best arc in One Piece so far imo. Loved it. I’m almost sad to be leaving Skypeia and it’s characters.. Conis, Pagaya, Shuu etc. Here’s to the next adventure though. Looks like things have got interesting already xD |

| As great as the Skypiea arc was, the Straw Hats need to go back to the Blue Sea again. And what a way to get back to solid ground again with an octopus. Funny how the way down is much easier than the way up but it does mean it’s pretty hazardous as well. I will admit it was pretty weird being on the sea again because let’s face it, Skypiea was a completely setting that indeed the Straw Hats as well as us the viewers had never been to at this point in the series. But I’m not worried with that, I’m pretty sure I will readjust to the Blue Sea in the next couple of episodes soon. Like I’ve said Skypiea was a great arc, again pacing was sluggish but it certainly had it’s moments, great fights and characters that were very memorable to me when things got to upper yard that’s when things started to get better. Honestly don’t know why people thought it was a weak arc because it really wasn’t for me Anyways the Straw Hats reactions to the freefalling was just hilarious even the Going Merry was internally screaming for dear life. It was very courageous of Usopp to use the breath dials to help make the ship float. That was some good thinking on his part there. Although if we have to be fair, them just landing in a Marine base was probably the worst place for them to land in. XD I think I’ve seen a few clips of this arc in particular I think this has got to be the filler arc that has Luffy sneaking around behind a Marine and ultimately keeps missing him and Sanji just rolls his eyes at this moment or something. XD Looks like it’s gonna be a lot of fun though. |
