| That was a pretty solid start, this is going to be my first tennis anime. It has an old school vibe going for it and is a bit nostalgic. Ryoma has already been established as a bad ass, when he switched hands at the end I was like "uh oh!" |

| I don't know if I'm just "soft" but I had tears welling up in my eyes when I saw Ryoma because of his appearance and then I literally cried when Sasabe hit him with the racket. I thought his eye got wounded and my horror tripled when I saw it wasn't a nosebleed, luckily he just got hit in the head. |
| Watched this episode years ago,but never continued. This time I will for sure xD Very promising start. |

| I remember, when I was a kid i saw "The Prince of tennis" on 'animax' TV channel and liked it. It didnt have any subtitles and was in japanese. I didnt understand anything that was being said. I just loved the characters , the teams and the matches. I was too young to understand it anyways. I finally decided to watch the whole show, although I am only able to find the fan sub. |

| It was kinda boring ngl. And if you know absolutely nothing about tennis or its terminology... go find a dictionary. If you plan on watching this anime, you need at least a basic understanding. |
