Great episode. Not too much gay, although it scared me a little when Ono was talking to Eiji about cream filling...but nothing ended up happening.

GG wins for adding a second sub track called "THE CAKE IS A LIE" and replacing the word cake with the word lie whenever it showed up.

Much improved from the first episode and a lot more what I was expecting from this series. The animation is still hard for me to get around, but Eiji certainly saved the show for me at the moment. Being the most entertaining character thus far on top of being voiced by Mamoru Miyano equals win.

Wow, i enjoyed the second episode a lot more than the first. The background looked quite good and im starting to warm up with the animation. The seiyuus are doing a good job by the way. I just realized hallfway this episode that eiji is voiced by miyano mamoru. Another reason to stick to this show ^^

Yosh this turns out to be a good shounen-ai since it's not always dwell on making out and instead has a depth to its story.

I approved!

Well, I enjoyed it.

The whole cake shop them is something refreshing different and the characters are rather interesting.

The CGI is a bit too obvious, but ok.

Nice episode. Though animation still bothers me, cake scenes make up for it.

Initially, I thought this was a "gay" anime, especially the way in the beginining of the show. But, continue upto episode 2. In 2nd thought, the story is still not so bad. (Gay people is not harmful to everyone), but it is rather humour and funny.

Characters, ehmmm... each character has his own attraction, how the story evolves. really need to "wait & see".

Thridly, noted from the scene, have 2D feeling. The "Antique" cake shop, I would say it's elegant, the design - likes an old euro buidling, it's style, I like it very much. Girls, imaging, if you have desserts this kind of shop while you are served by handsome guys... ha.. enjoying.

The Life goes on instrumental was brilliant. Not engough gay

Eiji has a decent seiyuu, but compared to Ono and Tachibana he sucks. He is also semi-annoying. I say there's a good chance his character will grow out of it soon, then again...

I like this anime so far, though I don't find myself enjoying the backgrounds often. I like the design of the characters and the way they're drawn, but in against the CG background, they look out of place, especially in episode 2.

Of course, whilst I'm mildly disappointed that the homosexual tones in this are for humour only, I find it really good that it's being put in more mainstreamly - it actually happens in real life, you know! So I like it. And even if it stays at being comedy fodder, I think I'll still like it. The cakes, for one, look delicious, and I LOVE the fact that it's Light's voice actor as Eiji, screaming that he loves cake. It's just insane!

This episode was better than the first one by a long shot. The last episode was somewhat dry, but this one was so full of life. The SD faces are just too funny and I loved it when Tachibana called Ono "Epically gay". The seiyuus' French was actually pretty good. Aside from the animation, this episode was very good. I'm not going to drop this series.

I have to agree with most of you all above. The second episode is better than the first one and I'm getting used to the animation. The SD moments are really really cute and Eiji is so lively!! He really contrasts well with Tachibana and Ono

This episode was good imo. It went away from what was in the first episode and got some good story in.

Not bad, the ending was a bit cliche and overly sappy for my taste. I still enjoyed it though.

Less gayness in this episode, but its still a good one.

Learned more about Eiji's past.

Love his small fights with Keiichiro though. Quite funny. ^.^

I love the bakery in 3D, it's gorgeous. The only thing I hate about the series so far is the dull color of the characters/ maybe the character animation.

AND THOSE CAKES!!!! They look so good. ;A;

Some interesting characters with some decent development, at least it wasn't as shounen-ai focused as last episode.

Funny interactions, a sweet little story about people living their lives, and CG that's used pretty effectively to make the anime's small world feel a lot more warm and spacious than it really is. So far so good.

The transitions between CGI and animation are still tough but the show is quite nice, the characters have a warmth to them and I 'm intrigued how they'll grow :-)
