| Good, subtle storytelling that implied rather than directly told how things stand. Amuro's complicated feelings about being literally grounded were interesting. I hope we get to see more how the characters have developed and what the Earth Federation is like now, maybe even an episode without a mobile suit battle. But I understand they're one of the main attractions for the target audience. Kai's letter was hilarious, appearing like it was written by a ten-year-old. Kamille punching Char once again showed how they think punching people solves things as if people were old tv sets. But Char's thought about being shameful was interesting. It could be shame about the war, having been on the losing side, or specifically about his family and how everything turned out for them. |
