| So they were playing exactly the same match as their grandfathers did... How high was the chance that they draw exactly the same cards? But oh well, anime-logic. |
| I used the same tactic like Rebecca did in Yugioh PC to summon "Shadow Ghoul", but the different is I didn't throw my monster card to graveyard instead I make them die on purpose when they die it have effect special summon or draw xD |

Yugi barely seemed to care about it when he got the card last episode, so its rarity clearly didn't matter to him. Plus it was basically just a prize card that couldn't be used in a duel anyways since it had no effect lol. Y'know what I don't get? How come this episode and so many from the first couple of seasons had better animation than later episodes from the Doma arc and the World of Memory arcs? Why was the budget reduced later despite YGO being so popular in the early to mid 2000s? As for the duel itself, the fact that Yugi surrendered always pissed me off. He could've beaten Rebecca and the end result would've been the same since the mix up would've been explained anyways. Also I liked that the anime foreshadowed the God Cards even though it was weird that Arthur deciphered the word "card" from ancient Egyptian stones. |
