| Hello! So basically I’m trying to get into the MAL discord server, I’m at the part where you need to link your account to see the rest of the chats. Problem is I’ve been in the server before and my account is already linked. The chats I can see say to tell my problem to the MAL profile but when I try and send my message, Clyde shows up saying I’m not in a mutual server or I’m not friends. I’m at a loss. I have questions and don’t know what to do. Someone please help if you can 🥲 |
| @RoyalyGaming It is a massive massive pain in the ass to get back into if you leave. I've encountered this problem multiple times. Discord is already enough of an annoyance with the constant drama and endless DMs from strangers/acquaintances if you open yourself up lol Anyways I always had to find a Discord mod or other high rank to get back in (bottom) https://myanimelist.net/staff?_location=mal_h_m Beeped is very kind; tell them I recommended you ask them if you are worried they might be annoyed, although they probably won't be. |

| @Astachanna Yeah, that’s the normal way. In my specific case I had already joined and verified my account. Then I left for some reason a while back and when I tried to rejoin I couldn’t get back in. I figured it out though! One of the discord moderators on here reset it or something I think. Thank you for trying to help though! :) |
