| Welp, their planet is in despair. With what what happened before, it's not surprising. We got a song performance this episode from Siren as a piece of hope. It's not much but feels like music is the only thing that can help rid of that feeling of despair. Siren has talent for sure. |

| I'm not completely sold, but so far it's more interesting most other titles this season. We got a little info this episode that brought about more questions, especially about that blue haired girl. Siren took one helluva hit at the end. Reminded me of the mom's in Korean dramas. She knocked the girl out. |

| Bit of an exposition dump this episode. I know that was important, but it still doesn't make for a great episode. Kyouya being super depressed certainly didn't help things and I think it was a mistake to just kill off Yosuke in episode one. If I was writing this I'd have had Yosuke sponsoring Kyouya and build a mentor/student relationship before killing him off in say episode five for a much greater emotional impact. As it stands I just don't really care for any of the characters at the moment and the plot hasn't really hooked me yet. |
| Pretty hard debut for Kyouka but Siren got the good word at the good time for him, now he can really start something great! |

| Given how close they were Yosuke's passing would have affected Kyoya. Using the hopes of people as their source of strength is a pretty neat idea. Still the effect that the passing had on the team is hard as they had to bottle their grief compared to the outside world that know nothing of their sacrifices. Overall a fun ep that really did well to expand upon the lore and the sacrifices that the team has been dealing with in their war to protect the people. Liking the slow bonding between Kyoya and Siren so far though. |

| I wonder why there's so many music shows with this dreary apocalyptic battle against a faceless enemy. It's a weird concept to go for even once. It's a testament to the weakness of this season that I don't know if I want to drop this or not. Kyouya showed a little depth this episode, but he's still your generic spiky hair who looks so dorky when he dances. The school setting has me especially worried. Nothing good comes of magic school. |
