| Tbh, I'm glad Sadeena got her spotlight. It's late in the season but she was able to show off both her fighting and drinking skills in a duel. Too bad she did go down fighting. Shildina is no joke. The end result was even surprising from that duel and it looks like they're setting up for another big fight for the finale. |

Classic case of younger sister being put into a position she never wanted to be in because of an older sibling who wants out. Despite that, very clear how much Shildina still loves and respects her older sister and it’s a damn shame this bitch Makina put them up to fighting. | I can see why Sadeena wants her clan to be dissolved. Just seeing Shildina's backstory makes me hate those who expect beyond perfection in everything that she does, but then throws a tantrum when Shildina can't match those unrealistic expectations. Either way, Sadeena does prove she's the stronger of the two of them, but Shildina then eats a fruit that gives her such a stupidly huge power boost, along with different ears and a hammer, she then makes Sadeena look weak. It did come at a price as she has now been taken over by what looks to be a former heavenly emperor with on hell of a grudge against the existing emperor. It'll make for an interesting final episode to see Naofumi's attempt to stop her rampage. The production quality wasn't great in this episode, so hopefully the next one will be an improvement in that regard. |

| How am I going to say this... This episode actually had some potential in terms of storytelling, but it was executed poorly. So, Shildina is actually Sadeena's little sister (which is not that surprising, we all knew they were related at least), and she blames Sadeena for all the pressure she had to face. So far I think it was ok. I just wonder why did they only showed this in this episode. Like, all of a sudden she remembered she was supposed to hate her sister, when she was commanded to fight them? Then we have the actually fight, which was even more questionable. At first Sadeena doesn't want to fight, because she doesn't want to hurt her little sister, then she drinks some sake, and it's all good, let's defeat her. During the battle Shildina takes out a "memory card" that let's her use Sadeena's skills (that's new, but ok). Sadeena beats her easily. Then she uses the memory card again after eating whatever that was, and now she becomes super OP, defeating her sister. Right after this she's like "Oh, Naofumi, you're here? Don't tell me you're Sadeena's lover!" and it seems she doesn't hate her sister anymore all of a sudden (especially when she discovers they are not in fact lovers). All of a sudden, Shildina transforms into a similar version of Raphtalia, and starts killing everyone at the castle. Like, what is this storytelling? It doesn't even make sense. I suppose the "memory card" Shildina used had the soul of some older emperess that was too OP, and that has some beef with the current emperor I suppose. But I don't think they explained the "Oracle" and the "memory card" things well enough to say anything. It's like season 3 all over again, where they introduce stuff and never explain them. I can't believe this was written by the same person that did the 1st season. I don't know if they cut content or not from the original source this episode, but the way it is in the anime, the storytelling was really weak, and didn't make a lot of sense. Probably one of the episodes where they could have explored Sadeena's character the most ever, being one of the most promising ones of the season, but ended up being a disappointment with its execution. I can't really believe this arc was supposed to be better than the Silvelt arc, because the 1st part of the season was much better than this. Edit: Forgot to mention, but of course, another girl that likes Naofumi, we can never have enough. |

| This whole season has been an absolute train wreck and this was possibly the worst episode. The writing is terrible, the story makes zero sense now, random characters and abilities are popping up with no rhyme or reason. It’s all just so lame. I didn’t think anything could be more lame and displeasing than Fohl going full furry mode several episodes ago, but this is even more pathetic. |

| I really would prefer Raphtalia (& Naofumi) gets to shine in their own arc. Dolphin sisters yeah fine but focusing too much on side characters is one problem this series will never go away. Give two mc their flowers at the finale at least. |
| There are many issues with this season. But the main one is introducing too many side characters no one cares about. And it keeps introducing new ones. |

| A fabulous art direction combined by the....atrocious pacing? I mean, I literally praised how amazing the fight with Orochi was, but then we're not getting a proper choreography for the miko duel? We have lots of potential to call out the S1 worshippers through the visuals, but sadly they missed their biggest chance. Makina was there, but not her terrifying characters. Did she not appear that much in the LN? Next episode might be a 17-minute conclusion with a 5-minute epilogue, and I'm probably not quite satisfied. |

| i knew she was sadeena's sister, and she's got some major grudge against her. or maybe she doesn't? anyway, something was possessing her and that thing that turned to be a raphtalia doppelganger, is she on their side? i'm thinking she is since she's pulverizing the emperor's men, and i wonder if makina was even pulverized lol |
