I feel bad for Suika. It must be tough to be all by herself.

I love the callback to Senku's first time alone.

Why suika? why didnt her eyes heal? why is it only human thats petrified? we've seen birds got petrified before so why. Instead of answering this, we got epic adventure of dog and pig, nice.

Nice, so now they are rewriting their own lore?! And for what? To put a chick in it, and make it lame?

Let me guess? This nothing burger of character will somehow do exactly the same thing our MC did in S1 and revive everyone by making her own version of the revival fluid. And I'll bet her version will be 100% more effective, and she'll do it faster than the male MC did it in S1, 'cause she's a chick and the future is female and what not. Lame episode, lame season.

This series was on a down spiral since a couple of season, with the D.E.I and not so much "science stuff" like they did in previous seasons. But anyone with two brain cells knew this series was going to put itself into a corner and pull the ol' Deus ex Machina card fro their @sses to salvage their cash cow.

Epic! No pressure Suika, the fate of our species is solely in your tiny hands, while you're all alone in the Amazon jungle.

How long will it take for her to revive someone?))

I’ve been watching Dr. Stone from the very beginning, and I’ve always been impressed by Senku’s intelligence. He’s a character who always has backup plans for every situation, and almost always wins battles in unexpected ways.

However, Episode 10 of Season 4 Part 2 felt quite strange to me. How could someone as brilliant as Senku not consider contingency plans, especially after several of his earlier strategies had already failed?

Some of the failures in this episode include:

• Sending Suika and Francois, which failed and resulted in the deaths of three of their strongest fighters

• Senku’s prediction after enemy communication was disrupted turned out wrong, as the enemies forced an attack

• The plan to send two female members also failed

• The plan to repair Medusa at the South American fortress failed; only the team in Corn City succeeded

It feels odd that someone as smart as Senku wouldn’t have Plan E, F, or G, such as:

• Creating a secret room under the fortress to store some revival fluid

• Hiding the fluid in a corner and informing all members except Xeno

• Setting a timer on the Medusa tower so that the bottle would fall on Suika automatically, allowing Senku’s team to revive within hours instead of months or years

Even if the reason is that Whyman, the mysterious character who petrifies humans, is watching from the moon, Senku could have still hidden the fluid in the fortress’s food storage room and left a secret message for Suika to dig it up. With Senku’s logical abilities, all of this seems entirely feasible.

If we say Senku “won” this episode, in reality, he actually lost. Turning everyone into stone was a desperate last resort due to all his failures. No one truly came out on top—neither Senku nor Stanley.

Honestly, without questioning the author’s storytelling abilities, I felt a bit disappointed in this episode. Why skip practical contingency plans that make sense? It felt like the story was forced to give Suika a heroic moment.

On the other hand, I’m sure the author intended to give Suika a standout moment. I haven’t read the manga yet to avoid spoilers, but I’m confident the author has a plan. Hopefully, Suika will get an epic and satisfying role for the viewers.

Additionally, the previous final boss moments in Dr. Stone were extremely intense and strategic, with twists that made it feel like Senku was ahead, only for the enemies to gain the upper hand before being defeated in epic ways. Somehow, this time it felt very short and rushed. Overall, Episode 10 was entertaining, but some of Senku’s logic seemed lacking.

So, after Suika messed up before after she indirectly endangered the life of her friends and singlehandedly almost entirely ruined the whole defensive plan , the author tried to redeem her by giving her massive plot armor:

1) She managed to dodge bullets from Stanley unscathed, a professional sharpshooter with deadly accuracy.

2) Then she managed to dodge bullets from three machine guns pointed at her alone, once again unscathed.

3) Somehow those three people who tried to chase and gun her down just disappeared after she fell off when throwing the revival fluid, giving her chance to talk with Senku for a long time and climb up there to her position before the petrification light got her.

I have nothing against Suika personally but what in the world is this writing? Guess the best way to watch this anime is just turning my brain off.

Did anyone find it funny when Senku's girlfriend just ruined a revival fluid potion? Because I sure as hell didn't :/

So many DUMB decisions have been made in this episode alone that it really takes the fun out of everything. It's not even about realism anymore, it's just frustrating writing. There was so much time with Senku and Xeno talking, surely someone but Suika could have gotten to the center. Heck, Stanley could have gotten there. The time management of the presentation completely gave up here. And how does Senku not have a bottle of the potion stored anywhere nearby?! Also WHY did Suika break off the remaining glass from her mask? She could have perfectly fine worn the mask with just one lense; now she's got nothing, has to hold that lense with her hand if she wants to see, sigh.

None of this was necessary.

Oh, and FUCK Stanly getting a generous finale. I swear, if Senku revives all those muderers and they're just welcomed by the good guys, I'll drop this anime. They literally committed mass murder and enjoyed it, the best they can expect is their statues being kept locked up somewere until we can build high-safety prisons.
If you haven't watched "Fantastic Children", don't talk about "best anime". Thank you.

Peak, Peak, Peak. Absolute peak. I cried when I read this part in the manga and here I have the same feeling. Just thinking of Suika all alone in the world is making me cry. She's the most precious character in this series!

The series is so close to its end and we got a second petrification, now Suika need to revive everyone, they need to revive everyone else in Soyuz's and Ruri's village or they're going to postpone it for now i guess and they still want to go to the Moon, how are they going to manage all that? I kinda have a feeling Suika won't just revive everyone willy nilly in a week or two, probably going to take a year or two and when everyone wakes up they're going to see a slightly older Suika

The last three episodes of Dr. Stone have been fantastic. Don't get me wrong, I've been really enjoying the season lately, but these last few episodes have truly elevated this season into a 10/10 for me. The sense of shock, hopelessness and now hope has been so memorable and well executed. It's Suika to the rescue and I'm all here for it!

That was so contrived, so the little girl could not only run from firearms but also carrying a lot of bottles and get to the point where she needed to, all without her glasses? Also if by luck she wake up (the bottle could have felt somewhere else with the wind or something like that) how would she deal with the predators and diseases she can get (seems like there wasn't repellent anymore too), this didn't made sense at all. Senku didn't seemed smart at all this season beeing relying to much on luck and the adults on this season are all fucking sickos that shoot children and teenager without caring or thinking at all, things got way out of hand. Was emotional yes, but way out of hand.

The weakest link of the group (no offense i lover her character) and practically a kid with the entire burden & responsibility of earth all alone on her shoulders.

Senku taking the biggest gamble of the century but he believes in suika.

I teared up a little knowing how tough its gonna be on her but this is gonna be much needed development & redemption for her. Our trooper suika can do this! Also glad she has some adorable monkey friends to give her bit of company.

Second petrification disaster, and poor Suika is all alone in the petrified world. Just as Senku several years before. She will need to muster all her strength, knowledge, and abilities to survive. And to find a way to save everyone, naturally.

Another absolute cinema-tier episode in a row. :)

Are we just going to ignore the part where they legit went for whole earth instead of just americas continent diameter? That would have saved them quite bit of work I would say
@Fligert actually, sken was not the one who said the "12mill 800k m 1 sec". It was an constant signal sent by why man from the moon. They used that frequency of communication. They had no other choice to relay voice to the device.

it’s just so peak, was a bit emotional seeing Suika all alone but I’m glad she pulled through and is actively searching for some revival fluid

I do wonder how long it will take this time around for someone that isn’t as studious as Senku when it comes to science

I feel that Xeno had more than enough time to climb the tower and capture Suika, but instead he stood there like q dumbass talking to Senku lol
Also, if no one fucking died, the US weapons must have suck ass because since the 1st "kills" it felt like it took hours to get the petrification going lmao

Suika proving herself yet again as the only useful character in this shit.
But what the fuck? Why did her dog change race when growing up? lmao, and his collar should have break when growing up, or else it would have asphyxiate him lol, I know it's not important but it bugs me so much, I mean someone had to remove it and then put it on again tying a new knot on it, but there are no humans so what the fuck???
Sorry if my english is bad (ใฃห˜โ–ฝห˜)ใฃ~~~

Excuse me but, I still wonder why didn't they put Dr. Stone himself in the position of Suika? Why wasn't this the plan? I mean, Suika is great, but Stone would've been faster & more knowledgeable to wake everyone else up from their petrification.
When Suika cried, I cried like a baby too. It's just too difficult for her on her own.

With this episode, I instantly found who my best secondary female character would be for this year... except when I found out that Suika is a main character according to MAL database. Well, she might still be my best female main character so far, but there's a lot of competition this year for that position.

No need, the episode did it by itself. Weak, lame propaganda pushing episode. No human child would ever be able to do half he thing she did, let alone a female one. But reasons, anime logic and progressive narrative needing to be pushed at all cost, made her do it.

And see how the super genius Senku didn't have a back up plan? Except for a step by step on how to make the revival fluid on some random piece of paper ... How about having a crate or two of said revival fluid hidden somewhere?

S1/S2 Senku would have thought about doing something like that. But not this one, this Senku needed to step aside and let this nothing burger female character shine bright, he needed to step aside and let her be the hero.

This series was way better before the USAID slush money kick in. One can clearly see a before and after the USAID kicked in.

A before and after the western wokeness steeped in. A before and after François. This season was clearly made before it dried out.

It's going to be interesting to see how next season is going to pan out.

If there is one, that is. Without the major fund provided by the USAID fund is going to be hard finding cash to fund this end of it's life project.
