| I went to a 100 yen shop (Daiso) near my home and bought 1 meter of valve tube yesterday. Though I usually don't do DIY things, I tried this time since I didn't want to bring my bicycle in this heat. Luckily, it worked (though 100 yen is too much for rubber). I also bought a bike bell too. Do you shop at dollar stores? |

| They're usually terrible, chaotic, and filled with absolute trash but sure sometimes you can find good deals there. I think they mostly exist because some people just like the experience of visiting them |

| @Little_Sheepling The only DVD I've ever bought from a dollar store is season 1 of Impractical Jokers. It even had a slip cover on it which I feel is not common for dollar store DVDs. |

| Dollar stores are everywhere where I live (usually called Dollarama), but over the years they have been selling stuff for up to five bucks, so can we really say they are dollar stores anymore? But I mostly don't go there much. I've bought cat toys there before, along with some fake flowers and craft supplies, but that's pretty rare. They have a lot of stationery stuff too, but it's so freaking cheap that I never touch any of it. |
| Not really, I can't remember the last time I was in a 1 € store. Most stores here have a cheap junk section where things cost 1 - 3 €. We do have stores that are fully dedicated to this, but you won't find cool stuff there, decoration, lots of containers, weird candy, water pistols of all sizes, stuff for your pet... |
| Some dollar stores actually overcharge sometimes. I feel like the names of them are misleading. It used to be everything was a dollar or less now it is several dollars. |
