here is where you let out your true tastes in music and list your favorite European artists from these three movements(Baroque, Classical, and Romantic). you'll also hear a lot their music played in anime too many times, Yumeiro Patissiere is one of the best examples. who is your favorite music composer artists from these three eras of music. list as many as you want and your favorite piece from their collections and orchestra records.

Baroque(from 1600-1750), examples: Bach, Vivaldi, Handel, Pachelbel

Classical(1750-1820), examples: Mozart, Beethoven, Boccherini, Schubert

Romantic(1820-1900), examples: Tchaikovsky, Strauss II, Bizet, Offenbach, Chopin

My favorites:
1:Johann Sebastian Bach: he is the real true GOAT of all music, without him modern music will not be like how it is, so many of his music teaches you how much of a genius Bach really is even compare to his predecessors he still topped them, Compare any modern music or music from other composers to Bach's, of course Bach's winning the majority of the times. his counterpoints, his movements, and everything is beyond this world when it comes to making music. his music inspired some many artists, it inspired the rock and metal genres, it inspired Jazz, so many music genres. My favorite of all of Bach's music is the 5th movement of the Brandenbrug Concerto, followed by his beautiful Prelude and fugue No.1 in C Major BWV 846, other Brandenburg concertos, Harpsichord Concerto in D Minor, the Toccata and Fugue in D minor, Orchestra suite No.2, and his Cello Suites.

2: tie between Ludwig van Beethoven and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: these two are the ones that made classical music popular in the first place, and every fancy place in the world have their music played a lot. and orchestras play their music a lot too. their music is extremely popular among pianists, especially the students, but they don't how to truly respect Mozart and Beethoven's music, they only play because parents want them too. their music is played in a lot of weddings, banquets, classy hotels, etc. my favorite of the Mozart music's are his entire Eine Klein Nachtmusik (A Little Night's Music) series especially liked the second movement the most, next is his Symphony No 40, Rondo Alla Turca, "Ah vous dirai-je, Maman". Favorite Beethoven pieces are Moonlight Sonata, Symphony No.9(contains Ode to Joy), Fur Elise, Symphony No. 5.

3:George Bizet: mainly for his l'arlesienne suite no. 2 Farandole, Carmen Overture pieces of music.

4: George Frederic Handel and Antonio Vivaldi: mainly for Handel's Messiah piece, Vivaldi's The Four Seasons deserved its fame and every movement are all beautiful.

5:Jacques Offenbach: his whole Orpheus in the Underworld Overture mainly is what I liked his music about every segment of the overture and then finally finishes powerful with the Can Can at the end of the piece.

6: Luigi Boccherini

7: Edvard Grieg

8: Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky

9: Johann Pachelbel

10: Antonín Dvořák

11: Gioachino Rossini

12: Edward Elgar

13: Johann Strauss II

I hadn't heard much of Frederic Chopin's music, or any other artists, probably either I don't remember them or never pay attention of heard their music before

It's "Eine kleine Nachtmusik". That aside, besides what was already mentioned, I also like Mozart's "Sonata for Two Pianos in D major, K. 448" because it's one of the few pieces that has a verifiable healing effect, the last two pieces of the New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic, Bach's "Air", "Hungarian Dance No. 5" by Johannes Brahms and "Gymnopédie No. 1" by Erik Satie
I recommend listening in 432Hz

@Zarutaku: it's also a thread for you, given that you also watch the New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic. The last two pieces played are always the classics

I mostly just listen and watch them play because it's impressive, but I barely pay attention to the titles and their composers.

@Zarutaku Same here, though I know the last two titles by heart because they're played in every concert

I like that sort of music but have no favorite composer.
I once listened to Yuri On Ice music in public and was asked the name of the "Russian" composer by someone who mistook it for something much older.

I mean, I won't be impressing anyone with my classical music acumen, but I did get on a Mozart kick recently thanks to Spag Heddy's 'Mozart Dubstep' which you should listen to.

It's an EDM cover of his 40th symphony. I've also been really enjoying his Rondo Alla Turco recently and even rewatched the Amadaeus film. Shit, I even listened to the song 'Amadaeus' by Falco !! XDD

:D

@Zarutaku thanks to notify me

I will recommend whoever here to listen more to Chopin, his composition is the best for classical piano, and the kind of music that will be eternal throughout history.

I played some of his etudes, such as 10 no 12, 25 no 1, 25 no 11, and 25 no 12. Also ballades: 1 and 4. Scherzo 1. Some of his nocturnes and waltz

Give them a try

I have a soft spot for Handel because he was the first baroque composer I got into even though I eventually learned to appreciate Vivaldi and Bach more.

For classical era composers, I really started to like Beethoven when I heard Piano Sonata No. 32. Before that I thought he was overrated because everyone was talking about him.

Are Liszt and Dvořák romantic composers or were they too late for that? If not I'll pick Chopin.

Oh, fuck yeah, let's flex our favorite composers on some anime forum where the average user wouldn't be trusted to sell yesterday's fish on a Sunday. Alright - Bach, Mozart, Strauss.

More seriously? Schütz, one of the Bachs, and Mussorgsky. Grieg and Vivaldi can fight for the middle slot.

Arnold Schwarzenegger walks into a movie studio and demands to make a movie about classical composers.

The producer is skeptical but intrigued to hear him out. He askes Arnie who he'd like to play in it. Mozart? Beethoven?

Arnie responds,

(Sorry, that's my go-to joke whenever someone asks me xD Bach is actually my favourite).

Baroque is my favorite amongst those three eras, but Chopin is my favorite composer. I'm always down to listen to his stuff.

Baroque: Yeah Vivaldi wins. The Four Seasons is just so nostalgic for me.

Classical: Yeah Beethoven. Honestly don't know the classical period as well. Most of my interest in classical music is mostly in the Romantic, Impressionistic and Modern periods.

Romantic: Liszt, I freaking love La Campanella.
