@ajw215799 As I see it, her mother is basically the last remnant of her family remaining. For whatever reason her father is out of the picture and she didn't have any friends when she was a commoner, so she's desperate to hold on to her connection to her mother, even if her mother is emotionally abusive and neglectful. Something that Lilisa herself might not recognise given she's never had a frame of reference outside of her family.

| Ya know not how I was expecting things to go with the previous noble maiden girl. It was a real had us in the first half moment. I'm glad Lilisa didn't get discouraged and question her guitar playing from it though. |
| Would like to see a future storyline where they meet some wealthy Scandinavians (maybe doing business with Mr Suzunomiya) who are secretly metalheads but hide it by playing classical guitar as a more "upper class" pursuit (most Finnish/Norwegian metal guitarists were trained on classical guitar growing up, hence the more complex compositions). Would re-shape Lilisa's view on guitar and maybe see her take up acoustic guitar to learn the classical style, using her cover of spending time in Europe as an excuse. |

| Otoha's so funny, she's still teasing Shiro about her "Kimochi warui hentai" from before when Shiro wanted to be verbally abused, LOL Otoha's just perfect... on the surface she's a cute young lady, on the inside she's a crazy rocker, but her true personality is that she cares about everyone and will take steps to help others regardless of success or failure. Truly the Best Girl. She can even make Shiro look cute... lol . And Lilisa continue her route to become the Noble Maiden by way of student council works. Just look at those eyes when she was typing on the laptop... LOL she's so focused. . Aaaaaaannnnnd.... Yup, there's the reality hitting. Money = power and social status. (Wall O Text that contain some political stuff) So even if it's a "shock" to some people that money buys you status (and apparently Lilisa, lol, this is how the world works, there's no way around it as long as money exists) . (Wall O Text of my personal issue with "series that have a random rich friend in it") . Now... how will Lilisa overcome this part of the challenge, since she obviously doesn't have the money to fund the school. Not only that, but she just learned that the previous Maiden stopped playing her favorite Harp because it's "not needed" in her upperclass society. This means a Guitar... that isn't even part of the upperclass instruments to began with... will most likely not make it to "after graduation"... so she can only "enjoy" it during afterschool club. Especially since her mom hates Guitar... (unlike Otoha and Shiro, where they most likely can already do the things they want cause they already have high status and so the parents doesn't care about their hobbies) |

| Tina was blunt in making that move with Tamaki, she actually blushed too. Lol. Yeah, more "cool calm and collected" Lilisa double faced life at high school trying to become the Noble Maiden. Talking about it, suddenly, there's all of a sudden a former one that has probably listened too much. A immediate question is... Can Lilisa trust her? Damn, that's why she became NM. And to be honest, she looked better with longer hair. On a side, i'm glad this is the third to last episode instead of second, on the other one... After credits scene seems to have both good and bad news. |

Although the genre of music is vastly different. Perhaps that's the key, an end of season concert where she blasts the guitar to the principal and moves her π jk Take back the similarity comment, she said it was for fun.. verbally smack that away. Don't take that. |

| A meet-up with the previous Noble Maiden. Surprised to hear Toyama Nao's voice here. I’ve always wondered—will Lilisa keep chasing the title of Noble Maiden? Because if she does, it’s like she’s lying to herself for the rest of her life. And if her conflict with her mother ends in separation or resentment, then her drive to become a Noble Maiden would probably disappear. Yayoi’s appearance here is pretty interesting. At first, she felt like a symbol of hope for Lilisa. someone who, despite being so carefree, still managed to become a Noble Maiden. But in the end, she also carried that "upper-class" mindset that Lilisa despises so much. It’s pretty ironic that becoming a Noble Maiden requires a huge sacrifice. And yet, Lilisa seems to be the one making the biggest sacrifice—though it’s for herself, not for the academy. The preview for the next episode looks exciting. Seems like we’re getting a band showdown. I’m surprised they’re going up against a male band. In anime like this, male contact is usually avoided. Even Lilisa’s stepfather’s face was never shown. And when male characters do show up, they’re often jerks. Hopefully the guys in this band won’t be total assholes. |

How discouraging that must have felt to see a person you looked up to and perhaps even related with, to just throw away a passion for the sake of public image. Was it even a passion in the first place, or are conforming to the moulds set before you that much more important? And heck playing the harp seems pretty high-class already, but daddy said no, so no. Or maybe Yayoi's playing 3D chess here and utilizing some reverse psychology to save Lilisa from this path that she thinks is right but will lead her nowhere and away from herself. If that's what it means to be the noble maiden, then I don't want it, Lilisa must be beginning to think. Plus it looks like the pay-to-win aspect plays a big part in getting the title more easily, rather than personal merit. Lame. This must be the start of a wake-up call for Lilisa in realizing that there's ultimately nothing for her in pursuing the title of Noble Maiden. She wants to do it for her mom, but right now we have pretty much no backstory on the mom, and I'm gonna say this based on what we know: f*ck her and let Lilisa rock on. And oh yes let's get some girl band vs. boy band action. Kpop demon hunters released a day after the next episode (episode 12) of this aired I think. Nice. |
