| You know, for how rural and boonies looking this town looked or whatever, the LAST thing I would've expected them to pull out was a FUCKING TANK. But after the whole poison gas shit we saw, nothing should really be a surprise here lol. Bout time though, that Sebastian had pulled up, and ofc, being the one hell of a butler he is, saving our little femboy, I mean, Ciel being the first thing he did. But we know that Sebastian is adept at protecting Ciel, even more when he does a command to... so yeah, one command to destroy that tank, and destroy that FUCKING TANK HE DID... With his BARE LEG MIND YOU. Tanks are cute and all, but when up against Sebastian the butler, there's really no competition involved. Did find it funny how that girl in the tank really thought mere bullets would do something against someone who just destroyed a tank with his bare leg xD Nice to see the grim reapers making an appearance again. Been since the movie since we've seen them, and this time we even got some new ones. |

| The situation is same as with the previous episode: until you reach some proper story in that episode, it's 10th minute, because of recap + intro. There wasn't even that much action or story. This really undermines my trust into this series. I don't mind flashbacks that much but recap? If episode has around 23-25 minutes and recap is longer than 3 minutes, it's simply wrong. On the other side, I really like that they finally, after all those years, let Sebastian literally carry Ciel meanwhile fighting strong and dangerous enemy. The level of good fan service this show produces is insane. Not even talking about getting reapers back into the story (and I really hope this is not just some 1 minute mention do ditch them until the next season). |
| Well they just cleared em, only that annoying butler guy left. Kind of feels anticlimactic. Doesn't help that half the episode is just recap + op & ed. They could have made this a 10 episode season without the recaps and extended op & ed. Would have had much better pacing and content per episode. |

| Took Sebastian a minute to arrive there lmao but as always he...took care of it. Is it Black Butler if we aren't burning people alive lmao? Really interested to see where the new Shinigamis will lead us though I greatly miss our British Shinigamis. That tank surely came out of nowhere but, like I said, Sebastian is one capable butler. |

| Recap ass season, if you don't have enough story to cover, don't make it into 13 episodes. Make it 10 like Book of Circus. Hell, make it 12, throw filler moments in it, but don't do what you did here. Sheesh... It's ridiculous. And there are still 3 episodes to go?! What, the last one is going to recap me the whole story?? Well, the only positive in this is that animators are finally getting some rest, animating 10-12 minutes instead of 20. |

| @GersonSalas because, as I said, this arc has material only for like 10-11 episodes max. Not 13. So they are forced to stretch it as far as possible, down to repeating the same scenes in two episodes (Sebastian burning down the lab at the end of ep.8 and at the start of ep.9). And doing recaps (which, okay, fine when they were just few times and just 1.5 mins, but 5.5 mins out of 23 min episode is criminal) Also, making OP and ED 2 minutes long... |

@Ch0coPudding From what I've read, the first such sports shoes appeared around 1890-1892. The Grim Reaper seems to have jumped a bit into the future. |
| omg im actually pissed with the recaps being half of the episode, atp i would have rather had an 8 episode series or even a movie bc this is too much. not sure how they are going to do the next arc tho bc that one is LONG like super long... maybe they should have baited the beginning of that arc in the last couple of episodes and left it with a cliffhanger. and like content wise. i mean its all still the same scene in this episode as was last so no comments ther |

| Recap butler at it again. this alone is going to make me drop the shows rating precipitously, and it wasn't that good to begin with. This whole season has barely done anything for the overarching plot and would be better served as a movie, since it feels like a side quest that is only tangentially related to the actual story. This season has been awful for 99 percent of shows probably and this is not different. 13 episodes for what? It's not that it's bad, it's that they're really dragging their feet here. okay, it is bad, but the story alone is okay. |

| Another long recap for the 2nd time in a row, that's like 10 minutes or mo What is going on Cloverworks? By now I'm thinking this should have been 12 episodes instead of 13 since there's enough recap for 1 episode of screen time. Well, if you're going to have 100+ German soldiers cosplaying villagers for 10 TEN LONG YEARS they'd better have toys and exercise to keep them in military shape? That's what would explain the Panzer Tank I guess. Also just realized those German lady soldiers are super vicious when inside a behemoth of a tank. Diedrich makes the right call to run, but Ciel's injury slows him down. Things are looking grim, they fire off a shot and it's in super slow motion. I'm screaming SEBASTIAN COME! And my prayers were answered! In the midst of this horrible situation Sebastian and Ciel still find time to do some witty repartee banter that would be considered flirting in some romance novels. "You should have left it to me" "you were Tardy!" Never change, y'all. At this point poor Wolfram realizes the Panzer fired not knowing it was Ciel vs. the real Emerald Witch. Looks like they'd rather have her dead than capturing her alive. As it sinks in, we can almost see the wheels in his head turning and his heart fighting against the programmed loyalty. He actually screams AAARGH as he's running away from ze Tank. Ciel might be young but he's got command presence and authority. Snake and Baldroy are to go to the railroad to secure their escape. The Sulin Gas is given to Diedrich who complains he has the most dangerous task, until Ciel and Sebastian head off to get rid of the threat! Baldroy tells Diedrich not to worry! Ciel has a plan, and Sebastian is ... talented. Ciel instructions Sebastian to get rid of the Armored pest. He's ordered to destroy the Panzer. And now It. Is. Time. Sebastian with the total aura farming thise episode, great fanservice for all of us! Sebastian vs. the tank didn't take long or last long. There was slow motion bullet time. Soldiers blown up by Bard's treats - Marmalade Bombs. Ciel's analysis of the Panzer's weakness. And Sebastian delivering the semi scary coup de grace. I knew those improvised grenades were going to get a lot of use and I was right. Oh no, The dub has a Ciel Zinger at this point "Not so much mobile warship anymore, is it? More like a mobile Oven." Sad the ladies died, but that's war. Hey, German Grim Reapers? One has collected Anna of the Oscar fell into her big boob cleavage fame. Sascha gives us some fascinating insight into Ciel's family, dirtying his hands for Queen and country. The dub version is really quite high quality, I enjoyed it more than the sub version. |

| Ok I know this show has a habit of recap, but uh.. did we need that recap? XD Oh well, the season is basically almost done. Return to the chubby dude. Tanks going hard in Germany 🫡 but frfr, nothing stops Sebas. Not the bunch of soldiers nor the literal tank that got squashed by Sebas. Welp, that's what happens when you go up against one hell of a butler. Not even the metal is impenetrable The way he cleaned them up in the end tho 💀 prob something along the lines of old tank warfare thoughts. Some tank designs are straight up an oven. But I suppose with wolf butler guy knowing their schemes he's going to have second thoughts. Maybe he'll come around and apologize on the next ep |

| The recap length is crazy but oh well, I can see Sebastian burning humans in a tank and address Ciel as ojou-sama haha so satisfying. These last two episodes felt amazing and a treat for the fangirls. |

| I feel relieved knowing that the recaps only recently started bothering me, not from the very beginning. Otherwise, it would have been a nightmare. Lol First, Diederich saving Ciel. Then, Sebastian. It's hard to imagine him (Ciel) ever being 100% self-sufficient. Seeing the tank reduced to a matchbox burning was amazing. Sebastian is cold. On the other hand; I wonder what will happen with the new shinigami now. |
