| The thread creator is correct, this ghost expert guy (his name is Ohara apparently) actually appeared before on Episode 12 of Season 12, very cool that he returned along with the same art style, this time around he actually properly helped someone and nothing bad happened, that’s pretty crazy for a Yamishibai episode lol, that girl got really lucky considering Ohara knew she was lying. I liked this twist a lot tho, they kinda had us thinking that girl was telling the truth about the sleep paralysis demon, then bro says he knew she was lying and it appeared he fucked with her, but then it was revealed that she really did have a ghost following her and he helped her despite her tall tale, maybe he’s a good guy after all lol. Even if this wasn’t a scary one I still appreciate it for the narrative, I think it was also helped by the fact this story felt properly paced for 3 and a half minutes, a lot of Yamishibai stories either cram too much in or not enough to be satisfying, I feel this was the perfect middle ground, definitely one of my favorites this season! |

| I suspect that this season has an overarching plot. This episode and the one about the tiny hands are lose threads. And the opening about the giant hand is pointing at something. (I am sorry, I am not sure if the words I used were the right ones.) |
| I did not understand this one. I thought the season's theme was "stealing", but this guy just felt like helping? I guess the liar girl tried to get something based on a lie, which would be a type of stealing. I'll rewatch the other episode with Ohara in it. Cat Report 6: Cherry was sitting on a nearly-empty bag of cheese popcorn on my floor. I gave her a piece. |
| By now they know we expect tragic twists at the end, so they give us episodes where nothing bad happens. Lol I love the ending song, it's so good I added it to my J-pop playlist. :) |

| Returning Characters are always good. Wierd episode but i like the fact that there are returning characters. |
| This episode felt like nothing to me. Easily my least favorite of the season so far. |
