| A pair of twin magicians! This show just keeps on giving. But on a serious note, this whole plot about the great calamity is unsettling. Also got to see what the strongest magician in the world Oz is like. Akira seems to get along with everyone still really well. Her personality fits even in a cast consisting of all different types of characters. |

| Okay, so... The 2nd episode was really, really great. I would even say better than the first one in my humble opinion! Just like the person above me said, the story will get CRAZY when all of the characters are actually there! I can't wait for this to happen~ But yeah, I'm in love with this anime (totally not biased opinion) and so far they are doing a really good job! |

| This show is dropping tragic character lore like a desperate Soundcloud rapper putting out new music every Friday. Ironically enough, the clumsiness of said presentation kind of kills my interest – I'll still stick around for a while though. |

| At least they did stuff this episode.If nothing else the adaptation is playing right by the visual novel, which is something I guess. Animation still sucks hot rocks but there wree some okay moments like Akira plopping into existence when she touches Cain. Technically it was the laziest thing they could've done but it still works so I'll give it a pass. The gay fireflies from Oz's magic defibrillator going into Faust's dead eyes was so funny. Also caiowe yaoi <3 If you are at all interest in this story, please just check out the translations to the OG visual novel on the fandom wikia. |

| There's definitely a certain level of rivalry between the wizards, given that one of their brethren (Faust) is on the death bed, and Oz being the world's greatest wizard to leave things as such, only paints a bad eye on Mithra. If not including Faust, 10 wizards lost against the Great Calamity is a sizable number, and Oz needs every help he can get from the Great Sage Akira herself to stop Faust from dying. With that regard, both Northern twin wizards Snow and White show Akira the way forward, though one book eludes the fact of wizards deceiving the Sage...which he has quite the troubled mess fortelling his story of how he got trapped and is able to return back to the original world, which Akira intends to do the same. The Western wizard of Great Philosopher Murr being enamored by the Great Calamity that's represented by the Moon, he certainly has a poet of undying love towards it. And Mithra foreshadowing the series of events past for Akira of wizards fighting against the Moon in a yearly fashion, where the now big wizard group is sizably cut down in half, they absolutely need all the help they can get, like with Akira summoning new wizards to help the cause. The question now is how this summoning would be done... |

| [Just got to watching this series, lol] . So... the previous sage had a diary written in Japanese. Girl read it til it says "I can't go back", and then closes the book... ... this is the exact thing as bunch of ADHD streamers, that just react to a certain part of the video or game dialogue and then pause, skip or close the video before they finish it and then ask "why this, why that"... when the answer is usually near the end of the video or game dialogue. This is why I never ask question til I finish reading/ watching everything of the Lore or Dialogue, lol Just finish reading the diary before going into doom theory crafting, LOL . But the biggest question is... why didn't she just ask what happened to the previous sage and see what the wizards answers... before revealing you want to go back home... since the reason you got summoned was to help save the world, you think they would let you go back that easy? If this was a darker or horror series, this girl is already on the Dead End Route. . Also... the diary of previous sage said "Arthor is a nice kid"... And then they show Arthor to be like a teenager. So... either the previous Sage was really old that they viewed teenagers as kids, or the previous Sage has been living there for quite a long time before he goes back home, or the previous Sage somehow goes back home (if not dead) and the Wizards just fights the Moon by themselves til a new Sage (MC girl) arrives... But the question is... how did they know the new Sage was coming? either someone told them, or the previous Sage only went back the year before and there will always be a new Sage summoned the next year on certain day and time... But yea, all of these would be easily answered if the MC simply asked, "what happened to the previous Sage?" |
