She throws gasoline onto him, and burn him, 96% burnt as I read, and he died.

She did that because he didn't want to work, and used their savings for online gambling.

What is your opinion on this case?

I saw many people in social media defended the wife, such that the husband deserve to die that way

I think the husband is certainly at fault, but certainly he didn't deserve to be killed, especially in that way, that was really a crime. I think the wife should just maybe kicked him in the balls, slapped him etc., and divorced him, instead of killing him in such sadistic way. I mean death by fire is one of the most torturing way to die in my opinion. And for that, I think the wife should go to jail with the sentence equals to a person that kills, that is life sentence

Which sane person would think that what the husband did justified murdering him?

Reminds me of a former female friend of mine. Somehow the topic of rape came up and she was like all (male) rapists deserve to be violently castrated, tortured and killed. I was like I think they are guilty but they don't deserve that. She got really mad and incredulous that I wasn't siding with her and advocating for cruel and unusual punishment.

Another time I was riding in the car as she was driving down the road. A dog ran in front of the car and she sped up to try and run it over. I looked at her like wtf?! and she just went "I hate dogs."

Yeah, sociopaths gonna sociopath, I guess.

Something like this happened in my city a few weeks back, was on scene when it happened. It just the other way round. Our belief is that the husband set the wife on fire and then left the house. Husband then called 911 and stated that their living room was on fire and that they were leaving and did not wish to stay on or near the scene. Wife was found in the bathroom on the second floor in cardiac arrest, when we arrived on scene, we saw the LUCAS working on her in the back of the rescue, but she died around fifty minutes later. But since the wife is dead, we only have one side of the story.

I agree with you that the husband did not deserve to die, but I do not agree with you that you believe the wife should have hit or hurt him. Domestic violence should not exist. And while yes, beating the fuck out of somebody may get them to stop doing whatever they are doing, it is not the way that it should done. There are a multitude of other ways that it can be handled.

Be safe and well travels,
Chris

divorce is better and for most situations violence is only for self defense but then self defense only needs to be proportional to the amount of violence you are getting so no overkill is allowed by law

True, the husband was probably depressed. I've read studies saying that CBT can be better for depression than actual medications.

"We found strong evidence that CBT interventions yielded a larger decrease in depression scores compared to TAU at short term. Results for other outcomes, based on smaller numbers of studies, were unclear. We found little evidence of differential effectiveness of face-to-face v. multimedia CBT interventions, and no strong evidence of specific effects of any content components or combinations of components."

Yes that's why people shouldn't marry and enjoy the single life with the occasional friends with benefits.
I would Imagine there would be worldwide protests in the famous streets of London and New York if the genders were swapped.
Violence against men never make headlines

Some cohabitations are a real hell and you should simply end that relationship but it is not always possible due to economic problems, bureaucracies, ties, etc. Killing is wrong, you're supposed to help the others not to harm them but if its self defense it's a whole different story. Once you kill and the strong vengeful impulses have died down and the emotions of hatred have subsided your life is ruined forever having to serve the sentence, you make a choice like that when you no longer care about anything, the choice to kill with fire is sadistic and vengeful, there is the intent to make a person who has made you suffer suffer. Looks like the husband was an abuser, there are people who even if they do not do physical harm can do enormous damage with psychological abuse, and toxic behavior, even with the mitigating circumstance of gambling addiction which is an illness the husband has still ruined his wife's life without living in these dysfunctional situations it is very difficult to understand how people get to do what they do, what is she was a terrible wife and the husband did find in the gambling his way out, a way to cope with a sad married life? when these tragedies happen you don't know shit about it. The whole system fails a bit, society, friends and relatives that allow it to get to the point that these things can happen.

Why do I get the feeling she doesn't have a job either and herself sometimes spent money on needless things but that's seen as acceptable. Her reaction is driven by societal expectations not just the fact he did something irresponsible that effected both of them. That isn't an okay reaction or even that understandable because it takes forethought to grab an ignition source and effort to light it not some spur of the moment thing

I wonder if you should have turned her in to the police for that. If she does it with dogs I am sure she will do it to a person in right circumstances with the vengeful mindset she has.

I assume it would be under investigation. I understand the reason of suspicion though the guy would have to be somehow in the dark on fire investigations to not know how a fire started can be identified. Though there are some ways someone can accidentally light themselves on fire such as if there were lit candles somewhere near by or an electric blanket igniting the bed. I assume if she was facing head away from the door she possibly was trying to get into the bath to douse flames. Regardless that is awful that happened to her and must be difficult to witness.

That’s disturbing. Carceral feminism is self-destructive, honestly. It, like any preoccupation with punitive measures are just moral dressing for sadism and power fantasies. Not that I do not empathize with this mindset, as it is terribly easy advocate for these measures when you see so little done towards combating these sorts of crimes, but it ends up being self-serving. Venting is perfectly natural, but there is a difference between emotional release and stewing over it. The latter is just pointless negativity and despair.

Written expressions of extreme violence is used as gratification in the face of powerlessness until it fails to work, and it at best just leads to terrible bitterness. At worst it leads to those fantasies being reality.

What the husband did was definitely unjustified, but the wife was also going way too overboard and cuckoo with her method of retaliation. Neither were justified with what they did, but the wife's crime was much more egregious.

It just comes to show that there is no shortage of contrarians and trolls.

Hmm, I'm a bit reluctant to agree with having the husband's balls being kicked, but yep, I completely agree with everything else that you said.

People who quit gambling quit just before they're about to strike it rich, though even if he did she would have probably killed him for the money anyway.

Drawing from my experience playing mobile games, it seems I do not get the urge to stop so much as I get the urge to get lucky twice. Luckily, I am not an addict, but I never heard of anyone stopping their addiction because they got lucky. If anything, the exact opposite occurs as if they are thinking “woohoo, I got more money to gamble with”.

@PeripheralVision I was trolling with the first part of what I said, I guess that doesn't always translate well online. But definitely she would have still killed him even if he did strike it rich.
