Ruti might not be rocking the hero title anymore, but let me tell you, she's still as tough as nails.

A typical morning, as always. Ruti reflects on the ordinary daily routine she has dismissed as a "hero." However, on that day, Tisse's behavior seemed strange. She tries to inquire about what happened last night, so, in order to ease Tisse, they go on a date to a bunch of different places in Zoltan.

This episode is all about Ruti and Tisse, and it's a nice change because we barely saw them in the last season, except for that final episodes. Poor Tisse just wanted to sleep in, but she wakes up to Ruti hovering over her. Their whole outing, or whatever you want to call it, was pretty random, and it was cool to revisit the ramen shop from last season. I almost forgot Tisse used to be an assassin before joining the hero's party. It's a bit weird there was no OP or ED, but it looks like they're gearing up for something big soon.

Tisse managed to stop one threat from stealing the airship, but little does she know, more trouble is heading their way.

Just as I suspect from OP, seems like Ruti and Tisse are really leading this season. Red and Rit are now supporting characters.

Ruti & Tisse were the main focus, we see them doing their jobs, leading a slow & comfortable life. But a storm is coming their way in the form of the new hero.

Quite the morning routine that Ruti has. Cold mold sounds like an annoying problem to deal with. Still the herb farm is a nice new goal for Ruti now that her role as hero is no more. To be fair anything that Ruti does in the open gonna draw attention. The play sure escalated in directions that no one expected. It was nice to see Ruti reflect on herself though. Tisee's opponent was the worst in that he had no loyalty whatsoever either to his cause or his client. Overall a fun ep that featured a nice duology that showed well how hard Ruti and Tisse were working to start a new life for themselves alongside their friends. Van really is a self centered idiot though thats as much danger to the enemy as to his allies.

This one was very Ruti and Tisse focused which I’m a fan of, but the only downside is that Red and Rit took backseats, I don’t think we even saw Rit outside of that short montage lol, but that aside this was a great one. I was thinking the same as Tisse for a lot of this one, being that I had no idea what Ruti’s goal was lol, but that didn’t stop it from being a lot of fun, it was pretty hilarious how Ruti kept going around town and doing amazing things only to say “I’m a normal adventure” lol, I especially lost it as she caused an Alaskan Bull Worm to shoot out of the ground and proceeded to karate chop it lol.

Eventually we did get an explanation for Ruti’s actions, and it was because she noticed Tisse was down lately and wanted to cheer her up, definitely a roundabout way to do it but it certainly worked on me lol. And after the good times we got to see Tisse kick the ass of the rogue assassin Kiggith, the bomb trick nearly worked for him but Tisse quickly showed him what’s up, and then the lad even went and exposed his client in a desperate attempt to save his skin, not that being an assassin is very noble but that’s definitely a new low, and of course it comes back to Van and the cardinal, things are gonna come together soon most likely. And I really liked that last scene where Tisse earns the role of “slow-life assassin” lol, a wholesome end to a mostly fun episode, if only the fun could last forever but I’m sure things will get intense soon.

Well, it was just another episode about "I want wo live a slow life without drawing attention, but I'm actually going to draw attention wherever I go", nothing special.

Maybe I'm late with that comment but it looks like the whole world and church doesn't really care about where Ruti went and what's with her now. So what kind of bloodbath Theodora was talking about when 2 heroes will meet each other?

@darkos88
What's the point of these scenes, especially when it censored? It's just waste of time.

Nice that they featured this kuudere duo. They really carry their brand of cute nicely.
Also congrats to Ruti's seiyuu, Oozora Naomi. She just gave birth to her healthy baby last month!

The Daily Life of the Former Hero and the Assassin, it's quite the episode showing both Ruti and Tisse as they adapt to their new, slow life, just like Red and Rit. While Ruti does want to adjust like her older brother, Tisse feels like she's just brought along for the ride to wherever and whatever the former does, defeating monsters left and right, and bringing attention throughout Zoltan.

As much as Ruti wants to feign her way through, Tisse is quite concerned for her rather unkempt behaviour, though this is a way from Ruti to help her destress her life. That said, the beef between Tisse and her former student and mentor Kiggith Viper of the Assassin's Guild on Ruti's airship, which his desertation degrades him to nothing more than just a typical adventurer.

Cardinal Ljubo is gaining on the new Hero Party led by Van for his arduous beliefs, and he's just so into his role that feelings don't come to question. How will Zoltan thwart this when trouble comes?

Glad to have an episode focused on Ruti and Tisse. It's fun watching the two of them. Ruti specially, with her very ordinary adventurer work, nothing suspicious.

As someone who dislikes CGDCT and yuri (which despite what some person posted claimed this is but isn’t), this episode was a borefest. I really only cared for Red and Rit’s relationship in S1, and if this season is mainly about Tisse and Ruti, then this will be the worst 2nd season to a series I’ve ever seen (I haven’t watched Promised Neverland so…)

We finally get an episode centering on Tisse, her blessing, and her relationship with Ruti. I thought it was wonderful as barely any time was spent on Tisse in S1, and it's looking like S2 is going to be focusing on Ruti and Tisse more than Red and Rit, which is fine since their story has pretty much peaked already at the end of S1.

Back in S1 I kept wondering why the top assassin recruited to be in the hero's party was some awkward loli who didn't seem particularly assassin-ey, but then I realized that mismatching blessings could be bestowed on anyone which forced the person into the profession regardless of their personality. Furthermore since blessings changes people's personalities to to fit the blessing, Tisse must have been an extremely big mismatch for her to end up still so un-assassin-like while still being good at it. This episode reveals the conditions of Tisse's blessing through the failure of that other assassin to follow them: no tactics that causes collateral damage to bystanders, and no revealing their employer and their plans. Also through the discussion with Ruti it's revealed that assassins can choose to decline jobs, and can retire, it's not as nefarious as the marketed reputation seems. It sounds like the assassin's guild is just the adventurer's guild but with contracts to kill people instead of monsters.

This episode shows Tisse's a "victim of her blessing" like everybody else, and her blessing is making it hard for her to be friends with Ruti because Tisse doesn't want to tarnish the Hero's reputation with her assassin's dirty work, which is why Tisse couldn't open up and talk to Ruti during that whole outing "date", which was the whole reason why Ruti was doing it for. The only thing I found odd during this episode was Tisse openly emoting her feelings whenever Ruti drew attention to herself, we've seen in S1 that Tisse would be freaking out inside, but outside maintain a calm cold demeaner which was the reason why Ruti took a liking to her. I guess since then Tisse's relationship with Ruti has grown to the point where Tisse is no longer hiding her emotions to Ruti, except in more serious situations like the rogue assassin business.

As for the rogue assassin, he seemed to have been Tisse's former master and student? Regardless, Tisse seemed shocked with how much he was violating the tenants of his blessing by doing un-assassin things like collateral damage attacks, and revealing info on his employer to try to save himself. I can only assume something nefarious is going on with the blessings again, like the drugs in S1 overriding the blessings. Also I knew those two other guys were dead the second they refused to change the report, I guess the rogue assassin wasn't completely terrible if he gave them a chance despite then not knowing it.

As for the new hero Van, he's very dangerous. He has absolute conviction of his actions, but absolute disregard for anyone or anything else than what suits him. He tries to justify everything he does as the will of his blessing. This is actually kind of interesting seeing how Ruti's Hero Blessing made her a kuudere, and the problems it brought her. Whereas Hero Van is some sort of psychopath/sociopath, or something, with delusions of righteousness. I wonder if he's going to have any reservations, conflicts with his blessing, identity crisis, or sad backstory to offset how awful he's coming off. Even Ares is looking better than this punk, Ares got a hole punched out of him and was terrified when he got healed. He was even frustrated many times because of his mistakes, and it seemed clear his blessing was causing him to be this way, as hinted at his funeral. Whereas Hero Van seems pretty gone already by following his blessing absolutely to the point where it seems like he's got no free-will at all.
