The final performance comes up soon, and despite the ongoing feud with Tachikawa-kita High, Cardbocchi still feels that he's responsible for his friend, but that he has already given up on him while progressing on his own path. But the actual performance, they screwed up so badly for the set piece that Yazawa stormed off in a fit of rage trying to take the blame for Cardbocchi's mishap on stage.

How will the Kawagoe Boys Choir pick up from here, that's the question. Yazawa is shown the light by Haruo, but what about Cardbocchi?

Final episode is going to be delayed after New Year's, I just want the final episode ASAP to finish this soulless piece of "choir" material.

Somehow this episode is also has Christmas theme.

Too bad about the final episode, we know how hard it is to find a timeslot that falls outside the season aka Zom 100.

This show is back to its old antics... the character shots look terrible, and now all they care about is winning the competition but everyone is getting all fired up like they're on their way to the Super Bowl. Those reaction shots where they were getting all pumped up was CRINGE!! And the faces did not match the overacting of the voice actors.
It spent a lot of time focusing on two other characters from the 'other guys' choir who are barely characters in this show, and even Reika had to remind the viewer who their conductor was (remember that summer camp episode where old hag rode the Segway?)
So they get on stage to perform but Yazawa-kun chokes. So then Tenshi tries to pipe up but suddenly gets stage fright- wait, WAAAAT??? They're suddenly going back to the stage fright plot in the last 2 episodes?
At least one good thing happened, Kobashi (IT-kun) returned- and for once his robot did something useful and let Maestro into Yazawa's hotel room so he could give him a pep-talk. And I'm thankful we didn't have to cringe through that horrid acid-trip opener; instead that song was sung in the competition which was much better. At least it did sound like choir singing and not hip-hop idol performance!

I wasn't expecting to ever see the OP three times in a row in the middle of an anime ever. I guess they were distinct enough to give some interest, but aside from that, the whole episode felt disconnected in a way. Like things just happening. Too realistic. The ending was pretty solid, though.

Awwwww this was great, actually like how the twerpy ace came to cheer the team up as well as Haruo sensei proving once again he's the best character and to cheer up my favorite character Ei-chan aww. Definitely one of the best episodes of 2023. Looking forward to how they get Dan-bocchi Kun back in spirits.

Episode 12 is gonna be great.

haruo-sensei has his moments; sometimes it happens when everyone least expects it, but it worked to get ei-chan out of whatever funk he's in. now, about cardbocchi-kun...HE needs to get out of his own funk and forget about that juu guy and what he said!

Looks like they blew it. So much for getting in the top 3.

The production really fell apart for this episode, but I like how Haruo cheered Ei-chan up in the end. He still is a good guy, just a bit of an airhead ^^
