| I enjoyed most of these episodes when I was a kid. Now that I re-watch.... dude, what the hell? A cactus suddenly blooms and oh shit, a crest appears. In jp, Cockatrimon sounds like Will Arnett from Arrested Development. Him and his chicken dance. |

| Why is it that whenever someone is running away from something, they don't dodge to the left or right and let the object hurl past by? Huh, so Server Continent seems to have anti-air cannon that blows up anything that exceeds a maximum height limit. |
| "But why, tho." is my summary of this episode. It's not bad... just a bit random. Too random, almost. 1) Gennai can appear out of nowhere? Why bother if he's just going to glitch out again? All he did was make them worry more. Why can't he appear more often? 2) Palmon wants to evolve into one to give them shade... while being IN the shade?? 3) I'm not surprised by the giant cactus nor the cruise ship in the desert. I AM surprised that the cactus could bounce back a CRUISE SHIP. Just so they could randomly find Mimi's Crest. 4) The Crest was nearby and didn't alert its Tag... at all? The Tag took forever to shine in response which contradicts the previous episode. 5) Not sure why they're so shocked by it shining. Jyou's did it previously! 6) So Mimi and Taichi's Crests are in areas related to their Digimon but Jyou's isn't?? Was this episode originally scripted to come after Taichi's but something happened requiring them to move it until after? And they didn't bother to change some of the details and just added the previous episode in? Heck, I dare say the previous episode, it should have been Sora's Crest due to the soccer reference not Jyou's. (Or maybe none at all if they had that kind of time.) All this needed is a few minor edits and it would have been fine. Like I said, it's not a bad episode or anything (the animation style tells me its supposed to be a goofy one), just a bit too random even for comedy. | A huge cactus. It disappaeared. Gennai. Raise the digimon right. Devimon interference again. A ship? Numemon. lol at Mimi. A human? Cockatrimon. Adult. Etemon. Numemon trued to capture Taichi and Jo. Marching fishes! Dat theme. Agumon. They got turned to stone. Sora and Mimi escaped. Dem towels. Dat theme. Birdramon. Togemon. Dat Bang Bang! Sent Cockatrimon flying. They returned to normal. Numemon ran. Cockatrimon lives. The ship is chasing them. Dat explosion. Mimi's crest. Dat ending. And here I was going to praise them for running to the side when they first saw the ship coming toward them. Made me think that before coming to the Digital World, they went to the Prometheus School of Running Away from Things. Then near the end when the ship was coming after them they ran straight. So clearly it was just luck they did it right the first time. |

| Cokatorimon isn't based on a simple chicken, but on a cockatrice, the mythical creature that can turn people into stone. Decent episode, nothing great, nothing too bad. The cactus was super random but I think it's nice Mimi's crest showed here, I just rather it was on a temple of sorts or there was some type of construction around the cactus. |
| Funny how, as kids, they are so appeased after seeing a friend of theirs turn into a dark monster from the depths... (And even go on vacation for a while. Lol) About the end of the episode... That BBQ chicken was set to be a pain until the very end. |
