| There's already a thread for this chapter. . . Whatever, here's my post again. . . "Kaori didn't go full Narcissu, it was more like a mini-Narcissu, and it happened 1 chapter later than I expected, but she still, finally, broke. Looks like she won't be dying on the beach after all. I seriously went pale when she mentioned going to the beach a few chapters back. Looking more like 2 chapters left than 3 thanks to the size of this one. There might still be time for an impromptu wedding after all. It's either a wedding or the end of the story that Shizuku wants to talk about, maybe both." Something I keep forgetting to mention in my posts. So far Shizuku's story has been for Kaori's eyes only. This is leading me to believe that she took Kaori's suggestion of writing about their love very literally and the story she's writing is the very story we are reading and that everything in the manga is about things that have already come to pass as Shizuku relives and recalls the events about the summer that Kaori was there. |
