Multiple usually. I want to watch a lot of anime and watching multiple anime at a time doesnt make me feel bored.
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

Multiple.
I just watch whatever I want to when I want (tends to only get to 2-4 at a time though). If I start one anime I won't always be in the mood to watch that specific one.

I don't like too make too many rules for myself when it comes to watching anime, that's just what I prefer.

1 at a time and slowly, to better understand the series.
Pretty much the same here along with seasonal s, even when I'm binging.

Before I used to see multiple anime at a time, but recently I’ve just gotten out of an anime burnout so I’m just watching 1 or 2 anime for the time being.

Since I watch seasonal then I normally watch multiple anime in a season, except when there is only one watchable anime :)

I tried to watch an anime at a time, but there are so many interesting shows that i end up watching many animes. One day i advance with one, the other day with other. Watch my list, and you will see.

I normally watch between 3-5 seasonal anime and 1 or 2 that have already been aired and I only start new ones once I've finished those.

I watch seasonals so... multiple at a time. And the amount I watch at a time differs every season. I usually watch 8-15 seasonals and then I'll add a few already aired series into the mix.

Usually if I really like it I'll focus on one. If a lot of them are just "okay" to me I'll end up watching 1-2 episodes of different anime at a time.

My watching list is usually compromised of an anime that I'm watching with someone else and an anime that I'm watching by myself, so it's multiple anime most of the time. If it's only me then I like to focus on one series at a time.

Before I used to have a lot of time so I used to watch multiple Anime but now I watch one anime at a time.
When I watch long running Anime that has like 200-500 episodes I watch a couple of arcs of it and then I take a break to watch smaller Anime. When I feel like it, I swtich back to long running Anime.
I also used to watch seasonals because online discussions have interested me before but now have lost interest and don't care much about the hype cause I have other things to do that's why I prefer binge watching nowadays.
If it was 2020, it would've been a different story.

I try to watch single at a time, but unless I finish it in one sitting it's very hard to do

I don't feel like watching the same anime couple of days in a row most of the time

always under 10 at a time tho

I always watch one at a time, if i'd watch more anime i think it wouldn't be the same experience because I can't concentrate on the plot properly.

Multiple usually but trying to do one at a time now as watching multiple makes it hard to concentrate plus my memory is horrible.

Unless it's 1 really good anime, I usually watch multiple.
Especially for seasonals

back in days when I watched stuff weekly. Had like 20 anime I watched at the time. Now I watch when all is out so I can binge. So now I watch 1-2 at time.

i like to watch three animes at once tbh, i like to watch 1 episode each so it really paces them out
maybe weird but i prefer my shows to go on longer rather then shorter, so it turns a 12 episode season into like, 36 sessions of anime watching.
i feel like it really gives me time to digest whats going on in each of them and let them sit, instead of like bingeing through an entire show and having it be out of my mind in like, two days.

Mostly one at a time. But when it comes to the current seasonal animes, I would watch multiples.

I get bored watching the same anime all the time, so I watch more than one. More than three in number. I used to watch a lot of seasonal anime, but now, I like to watch some older works.

With how drastically opposite my tastes in genre can be sometimes, it´s almost impossible for me to watch only one show at a time.

I like mystery. I also like action. I love comedy. And a bit of fantasy never hurt.

So there are days where I wake up and crave a silly comedy anime. I watch about three episodes of that before either taking a break because of responsibilities, or going to bed.
After I´ve done what I needed/wanted to do, my mood might have changed.

Now I want to see mystery, or action, or LITERALLY ANYTHING but what I´ve just watched a couple hours ago.

I can still follow the plot in both shows just fine.

I WILL admit however, that this way of watching sometimes pushes shows to the wayside.

I´m in the mood for action, but not the action-show i started days ago, so I start a new one.
That one is better.
So I continue that one.

The other continues sitting on my list until A. a mood strikes again, or B. I move it to On-Hold.

I watch at most 3-4 shows, and it's usually a mixture of seasonals and already aired shows. I switch between finished shows when I feel like I'm going too fast with one of them. Just to spread out my time being invested in watching it. Seasonals help me with that when I want to take a break from watching them too.
