| This anime is not special but it is still entertaining. I rate this 7/10 |

| So as Aki is struggling for his life he relives his memories of Himeno and surprisingly the Ghost Devil spares Aki’s life but the devil also gives back the cigarette that had the words “Easy Revenge” engraved in it and a personal heirloom to him from Himeno herself. And him slicing the Ghost Devil was a significant moment because it shows he’s moving on from her death and way of remembering her. Damn Kobeni you really keep surprising me and you managed to sneak up to Sawatari at that. Impressive, most impressive. So Denji and Power are on the way to the top floor of the building to confront Katana Man, they come across a floor with zombies, Denji wants to ignore them because they won’t be a bother if they go up to the top floor instead without making a noise. Power decides to do the opposite and starts smashing up zombies, Denji immediately leaves without her. XD One thing I will say grossed me out was just Power eating that zombie arm. Ew. Just ew man. I don’t even want to know what she’s eaten previously just for the record. Anyways Denji begins round two with Katana Man and it was just as epic as the first round but with a moving train in true action movie style. While seemed like Katana Man had the upper hand by slicing Denji’s arms off but he didn’t take into account of his legs. Then it comes full circle with Denji and Aki kicking Katana Man in the balls. I didn’t think a gag from an earlier episode in the series would come back, full force in the finale but there ya go. So we had Denji’s dream from the beginning but expanded but with Pochita and ominous door and apparently the final scene also teased a character of Reze who will appear in the movie that’ll soon come out. So it should be good. Otherwise Chainsaw Man has been a solid ride for me, plenty of action, plenty of drama and comedy scattered across the series and MAPPA did a fantastic job animating the show. Ryan Colt Levy was a highlight for me when it came to English voices as Denji, same goes to Sarah Wiedenheft as Power and likewise Suzie Yeung as Makima. Everybody in the English voice cast was incredible and I can see why it was a hyped show in 2022. Amazing stuff all around and I will be happy to go along and watch the Reze movie when it comes out plus maybe see the second season next year. For now Chainsaw Man gets an impressive 9/10 from me. |

| Finished my rewatch, watching on a react channel, and definitely remember my feelings towards the series. Definitely a far better start than most shounen out there, but still very much just build up. Even character deaths still feel like build up more than moments to shine. Makima is probably the highlight so far with how much you fear her after this end arc. Will watch the movie tomorrow and see if it's worth the hype |

| Pure entertainment and I loved every bit of it! Gorgeous animation and art style, even the sound department was on point. Love the world building even if we only got a small taste of it, you really get to care for the characters too. |

| I was really concerned after that whole bat devil arc that Chainsaw Man was going to be another entry in the neverending chain of shounen battleslop with a badass premise squandered on relentless sequences of fight scenes over meaningful tension or dramatic storytelling. After the hotel arc, I was deeply relieved - and Chainsaw Man even has the balls to kill what it appeared to be building as a major character early! insane! unfortunately I am once again unconvinced Chainsaw Man isn't trying to be more battleslop than anything else. It's fucking excellent at what it is, though. I'm an pretentious (d)weeb and I love the arthouse presentation. Aesthetically the is probably the coolest shounen ever. I hope that this whole first season is mere build up for what will become an incredible, cerebral story. |

| Overall, I really liked the humor and the action, but some moments didn’t add up in terms of character development. Without going into spoilers, a few characters reacted in ways that just didn’t feel believable. Maybe it would make more sense if I read the manga as well. |
