I think it’s like Nagatoro explained, that she enjoys teasing Senpai because of his reactions, but this stemmed from her really liking Senpai and wanting him to open up more. She is not trying to control him or force her own dominance onto him, she is working towards a goal of helping him to break free from is loaner closed-off quiet timid unsocial self. Also, her friends like teasing Senpai Nagatoro because they know they like each other, not to control the guy or force their own will on him. Just look at how they all try to help Senpai against the more intimidating dominant controlling club leader that is also s woman, they honestly are wanting to help Senpai not control him. There is nothing feminist about this anime, you are missing the whole point of the anime. I get you liked it, seeing 10/10, so maybe I’m missing your point, perhaps you can explain. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |
