| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This ep was really good! Some scenes were shortened/merged but overall it still worked pretty well. So glad they kept LWJ using his forehead ribbon to tie WWX's hands heheh. Too bad they didn't include LJY dropping his chicken wing but it was great that LSZ stuffed LJY with the chicken leg LOL. They now have a good idea of who 'good brother' is and who the suspect might be but LXC hopes that's not true. It's so nice seeing WWX and JL having a bit of bonding time while fighting against those Lan Ling guys. |
| It's nice seeing Wei Ying and Lan Zhan fighting together, as a team. I can tell they cut out a lot since I am depending on my faint memory of the drama to understand the plot. lol Wei Wuxian teaching Jin Ling how to fight was so sweet. I had already forgotten that Mo Xuanyu liking men was actually mentioned in the donghua.  The foods in this scene are just photos, aren't they? lol The lighting on them is different than the rest of the picture. |

| Kinda nutty how high the production values are for this series. The art and animation are seriously on a movie quality level and the writing doesn’t hold it back one bit. What does hold it back a little for me is that I cannot for the life of me remember all these names and clan politics. I can get by for the most part from context, but it does hurt my investment because I can’t really think progressively about what will happen or the full significance of certain things. |
| An amazing episode once again.Is it just me or the chinese really are stealing the anime of the year with this and Link click. Cant wait for the next episodes as well. The animation is gorgeous and beautiful |

I actually reread it slowly while inputting the names of all Jin Ling's uncles and the post makes 100% sense xD Wonderful! |
| I love how they did the mixing. They saved time by calling LXC earlier to encounter the corpse. It is different from canon, but it still stays true to characters. I'm fine with it as long it's not making major character changes :) Donghua team are going all loose this season with Wangxian. WWX already tied up, LWJ drunk af, LXC already bearing witness. LXC had quite the shocker in a span of few minutes haha. Jin Ling hiding behind A-Yao is so adorable! I'll also have to make that smiley face of A-Yao as my profile pic. Donghua team's animation is top notch as always. Even the CGI is nice, some of it I can only notice if I really focus. Weirdly I like Qin Su's appearance more in the manhua. Not that she's bad looking in donghua (really cute). But she was soo gorgeous in the manhua. Still glad it wasn't her who's been harassed by Mo Xuanyu like the change CQL made....but they added bestiality?? But why are official subs so informal or lacking?! E.g 'Yao'? 'Xichen'? It's A-Yao (for LXC) and Er-ge (Second brother). Guodongsubs' are better with subs, I hope they do this season as well  |
omg they adapted the scene where Wei WuXian is tied up with Lan WangJi's forehead ribbon. Holy shit! Lan clan forehead ribbon meaning bellow, spoilers from the novel! screams WangXian interactions are sooooooo gay in this season, I think the production just gave the finger to censorship. Not that I think we are getting kisses and some hot scenes, but you can tell that they are in love in those scenes, with no doubt. |

| I hope I'm not the only one who loved the scene of the juniors drinking 😂 Jingyi shamelessly getting wasted and Jin Ling asking for Zizhen made me lose it, plus Sizhui lowkey judging them |
