| Who exactly is Akira though? I'm a bit confused But what an amazing start of a season! We got to see the woman everyone was talking about last season, Akito's mother! And their relationship couldn't be worse... I was actually shocked when Tohru wasn't able to react, and felt like she was useless... NO TOHRU, YOU'RE BEST GIRL, DON'T FORGET THAT! Also, Kureno sacrificing his own free will for Akito, he really is similar to Tohru... Also, love the new opening, it's much more mature, which fits the now deeper theme of the series! Excited to see more episodes! |
| Honestly, I can't say that I care too much for Akito. Like some of the comments said, they spent all that time building her up to be an irredeemable POS, that it's weird they're doing a 180 now. |
| Akito's mother looks crazy. It's actually unnerving. I like what they did with that scarf scene with Kyo! Everything about it from focusing on the pedestrian signals, to sound effects and how Kyo slowly walks towards the scarf. It was so suggestive it made you worry he might get into an accident. Just Brilliant! |
 She got him back. If you understand the characters well enough, you'd know she did! |
| I was at least right about one thing. Akito has mommy issues. She didn't receive love and affection from her mom so she's taking it out on the other. Someone really needed to teach her how normal, healthy relationships worked. I still hate Akito. No excuse whatsoever. |
