| Not exactly what you're asking for, but in Mikakunin de Shinkoukei the MC (Kobeni) discovers that she has been engaged for years to the guy by a family arrangement, and it's all about working out how she feels about it. Great show. But yes, a couple who are already established before the story begins is a setting I'd like to see more often. Boy meets girl (and boy meets boy, girl meets girl etc.) becomes a bit repetitive. |

| I haven't watched it yet so i'm not 100% certain, but i'm fairly sure the two mains in KareKano are already boyfriend and girlfriend at the beginning of the story. |

| Out of what I've seen, Bakemonogatari and Kare Kano have already been mentioned but there's also Momokuri and Nazo no Kanojo X. I believe Wotaku and Ore Monogatari also fit but I honestly don't remember much about the former and haven't seen enough of the latter to confirm. |
