oh, that was quite a beautiful moment. Giraud knows how to make the moves. sadly, not a lot came out in the end, but it was a good experience nonetheless
and damn, some of these dishes look super good. that giant cutlet got me drooling, not gonna lie

Once again, Giraud proves he should be the main character instead of Mika or Takita. His moments with Katja are beautiful and give both characters and the show as a whole so much pathos. Unfortunately, Mika won't be able to eat the dead dragon's meat until three years later, but hey, it's not like his crew poisoned the dragon in the first place. The detour might be over but the drakers didn't gain anything from it, aside from getting their ship repaired. Hopefully, their next journey will treat them better than this one did.

So, I just started the episode, but Jiro said no one was hurt in the dragon attack. Like, seriously? That is so dumb.

Yep Jiro's little love story ended up like this after all. It would have been so great if Katja joined the crew. Thou Katja and Jiro flying in the sky in the dawn was a beautiful sight.

So in the end things didn't went as planned for Jirou but at least he has a new experience and experience makes you wiser.
It was a funny episode as well.

Takita also made a good friend that she can look forward to meeting again the next time she visits.

As someone said, this episode proves why Giraud should be the main protagonist instead of Mika or Takita. Not that I don't like them, but I would definitely like it more if Giraud had their screentime.

I personally didn't loved or disliked Katja, she was ok. I can't ship her and Giraud tho because this episode gave me a lot of subtles/probable "Vannie likes Giraud" moments and I've been shipping those two since episode 1 tbh.

ALTHOUGH, I'm indeed grateful for Katja's character. If she didn't existed, we would've never seen Giraud with that makeover. Best boy looking fine ngl.

Appreciate they used every part of the dragon without wasting any and the dragon cutlet was just mouthwatering to look at. Some beautiful moments between Giraud and Katja before they split off (I hope one day they will meet again and be together). Man Giraud's new hairstyle kinda makes him look younger but still looks good.

I didn't have the strength to wait and I immediately saw this episode together with the previous one. I liked the closing of the narrative arc: much slice of life and the narration, while not losing sight of the characters of Takita and Mika, also focused on Giraud and Katja; not even the cook's recipe was missing, what more could you ask for? Ah, I forgot the romantic part which was the icing on the cake. Direction and screenplay worked well again this time. Reviewing the slaughter of a dragon made me a little depressed again, perhaps because I hate seeing animals killed, oh well!

This episode the drakers worked on butchering the dragon. Jiro and Katja go on a rode in the gyrocopter above the city with some nice views. I'm glad they separated and hope this is the last part of the romance. Takita can be so dense sometimes it's like the only reasonable character is Mika even though he is a glutton for meat. Slow episode to start but finished strong
