What a fucking plot twist this was. When I watched this for the first time I was shaking. Shivers down my spine went as I learned that King Sweyn is the real antogonist.

Askeladd luck is truly running out 3 of his plans have failed. The prince, the snow and hiding in this village.
I wonder how the Prince is going to change.
Seems like a rematch between Thorkell and Thorfinn is destined to happen.

Aw, Ragnar died. I kind of like him.
Askeladd is so cold and badass. The show is starting to get interesting with his schemes.

Norse realms are so unstable. It's no wonder their North Sea Empire would quickly crumble when Cnut dies decades later. Even in the game CK3, their realms always shatter into many pieces as soon as they get too big.

The real Thorkell vs Askeladd battle: The chefs preparing 5 days' worth of lunch for 500 men VS the carpenters working on the sleds

Won't pretend like Ragnar wasn't annoying but it feels weird to admit I'll sort of miss him. His awkward presence was an underappeciated break from the constant violence and brutality.

W storytelling, and Askeladd is really starting to piss me off, amount of people he's killed for no reason is stupid. But on the other hand Ragna is W man, seeing him think of that prince as a son was so heartwarming and him being killed brought a tear to my eye, biggest respect to that guy.
