DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Even though they are both carnivores, Legosi and Riz are so different with their ideas about carnivores. Legosi and Louis has a strong bond that I don't think some characters can understand in their world. Doesn't matter though. Legosi has made up his mind and this battle looks like it's about over. |

| I'd like to think that a key point here was for Legosi to break the taboo of eating meat which he always so abhorred. It's right, Legosi did his training to become strong without needing to rely on meat. But in the end, Legosi might have been in conflict with his physical nature: It seems that eating meat actually does boost the strength of carnivores in Beastars, hence "soldiers and athletes do secretly eat meat" (or something along those lines) according to Gouhin. Louis and Legosi might actually have done the best thing they could do here (practically). It's quite fascinating to see how Louis genuinely offered his foot "save Legosi" and to get rid of his past too. This chapter reminded me one of the first conversations between these two, where Louis provocatively said how Legosi would be drooling at the offer to eat Louis' leg... It's so great to see how Louis' contempt at Legosi has turned into consideration and that Legosi does take the offer, maybe in "appreciation of life" - as he has gleaned from the moth. |

| I'm torn, eating the leg feels like character assassination for Legosi but the chapter was a lot of fun, almost in a cheesy fan fiction kind of way. |
