| WOOOOH! Just got an email about this from Amazon and came immediately here to see if there was a thread. This is great news for viewers, no more double paywall to take advantage of whatever shows Amazon simulcasts, and if they keep getting some of the best shows of the year like they did in 2017 (Made in Abyss, Inuyashiki, Land of the Lustrous) then we can keep watching them without having to pay extra! I just hope that this isn't a big loss for the production companies who make these anime, I'm afraid I don't really know how all of that works... Now if Netflix starts simulcasting in the US, it'll officially be a great year for anime fans even before accounting for quality of shows. (Seriously Netflix, can we please just be allowed to legally keep up with the conversation on Winter 2018's most anticipated show? PLEASE?) |
