An anime or a manga with a disabled main character?
Something like Hidamari ga Kikoeru or Taiyou no Uta

Deaf, blind, disabled, mute, or really sick main characters are hard to find, so if you don't mind, could you please recommend me something?

The main char of Berserk has one eye and one arm. Does that count? It doesn't hold him back too much though.

Real is a manga about wheelchair basketball. Of the three main characters, one lost his leg and one is paralyzed from the chest down (the third is able-bodied)

Full Moon wo Sagashite has a main character with a tumor in her throat. (I'm assuming this could be categorized as "really sick"). It's a bit of a childish anime but a cute one if you are open to it.

The Friendly Winter is about 2 charaters with a growth disorder. The male character has also a mental disorder. Maybe you like.

Like Sign Language Koe no Katachi and Gangsta (Isn't deaf only listeners to skilled Sign Language Interpreted) main character

-Yuuki Yuna wa Yuusha de Aru (one of main characters can't walk and it has some other characters with disabilities later -don't want to spoil-)
- Koe no Katachi (deaf girl)
- Doll's Code (all characters have some sort of dissabilities)
- Shoujo Tsubaki (a bit of disturbing movie with a lot of ill characters)
- Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus (A season of kuroshitsuji that focuses around a circus where all the people who work there hav dissabilities)
Also manga Nickelodion has some chapters about crippled characters and other one shot mangas of the same author (Downman Sayman) sometimes have that topic.
Not anime/manga but there is a free visual novel "Katawa Shoujo" that I would also reccomend.

JoJo's Steel Ball Run has a MC in a wheelchair, but you can really forget about it because he spends most of the manga riding a horse.

One of the mains in the manga Oniisama e... is a late-stage cancer patient, but she still tries to live life to the fullest and be there for everyone she can despite her illness. She's really cool, you should check it out.
