DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I really thought Musashi was beheaded at the end there, would've been a hell of an ending, that's for sure. All and all I thought this OVA was just okay, it looked nice, and had that Kurumada charm but aside from that, it was pretty barren in terms of quality content. |
| A nice conclusion for the Yasha Clan chapter, a little bit emotional after what we were used to. @linkjoker Of course, the hero's designated rival couldn't be allowed to die in the introductory chapter. Either a final showdown or an alliance will happen toward the finale. 4/5 Overall opinion: This barebones superpowers fights series is an honest effort to adapt the manga. Benefitting from the usual Kurumada charm associated to the famous Araki re-design, it looks fine for an OAV (›StSeiya TV) but not more than that. There is a noticeable lack of animation probably due to the comic's style. Score: 5.5/10 very enjoyable |

| Musashi could've killed Kojirou, but once he sensed that his little sister had died, his heart froze, giving Kojirou a chance. Kojirou felt pity, and chose not to decapitate Musashi. This was pretty good. I'll watch the next arc shortly. The translation of the song in the ending credits made me lol. |

| Loved it! What an epic final bout! It was kinda depressing cause of Erina but it's on par with Kurumada's writing. Kojirou and Musashi are worthy rivals. Love the aesthetics of this show, the fact that they use wooden swords, the whole high school vibe, great stuff! |
