| I saw the news on ANN, and I swear to God, I nearly cried! I mean, it doesn't come as a HUGE surprise, considering that I had heard once that the creator's health was the reason for HotD's hiatus, but considering how much I enjoyed this series back when I watched it in 2013, it's still really sad! R.I.P. You will be missed. |

| Not a big fan of the anime but it's still sad to see creators die. At least he managed to leave behind a popular anime and manga. Most manga authors can only dream of getting an anime adaptation of their work. Especially one as good as this. |
