Now that they talked about it, I wonder what's Kei's father looks like.
I thought the scientist were smarter than that, he should've known that IBM can easily bypass security guards, which results in quite an ironic way where the guards are leaking location information to Satou's group.
Kei's IBM is quite smart at responding with words from only what Kei has used.
Well it seems like Tosaki will eventualy come to terms with Kei.
He who smiles in a crisis has found someone to blame.
pushup kid is so awful. dumb and simpleminded. sigh. at least he's going to kill himself repeatedly until he can manifest his ghost. that will at least be entertaining. the rest of this episode...meh
Good series so far but I have a couple significant issues with it...
It's should be pretty clear that hiding with police protection is not going to save you from an attack from an immortal with an indestructible ghost/IBM. That much should be OBVIOUS by now to the people at the top who know more about Ajin's than just about anyone else. Hence it would make more sense to run away from the country without a police escort and trying to live on the run within the country under guard. I understand why they don't do it for the purposes of the story as it would complicate things trying to track them down overseas but it's just a much more logical thing to do than doing the same thing over and over again which is the definition of insanity.
Secondly why are they still using guns and not tranquillizers or at least attempting to use some other non-lethal weapon? They can't seriously be THAT stupid.
Thirdly Sato and his crew demolished an entire building and killed dozens of police officers in one of their attacks. Additionally he's threaten to "take over the entire country". That's basically a declaration of war. If such a thing happened in the US you'd see martial law and a mobilization of the national guard with military support rolled out. We're talking about a coordinated effort with all branches of government put into play meaning literally thousands of people and troops and heavy equipment(APC's many helo's). There's zero chance Sato's group of 5 people with ONE hacker to cover their tracks would be able to launch attacks and remain hidden. And while they can realistically take out one police squad they're not going to be able to win against the force a nation like Japan should be able to muster. I know the show is trying to play up the tension with a cat and mouse game but with the facts at play and the crimes already committed (major terrorist acts!) the response of the government so far is underwhelming and unrealistic.
All that said, it's still got a lot of good things going for it and I'm definitely going to watch it to the end.
I like where this is going. Kei is gonna need to go through some character development or else he won’t be able to stop Sato by using his ghost. This is exhilarating.
