| I guess, according to the mangaka, beaters are just people are who generally get too bored with a single person to care about them anymore... Though I did really enjoy this chapter aside. ^_^ I guess Sensei becomes aloof as he doesn't believe he can ever fill the shoes of her grandfather as the guardian of Taeko. |

| A sad chapter and great nevertheless. Nice that Sensei stepped into the conversation to think of what may be best for Taeko, and curious as to what the mother's true intention was (surprised that she was a beater though). Curious as to who the other tenants in the building were at that time though when they all came out (though I think I found out the blanket family xD), and eager to find out what may happen next (both i the story as well as what may happen after the story is told). |

| yea that family of rich people as expected of them were garbage. and ya Kimiko, Taeko's mother is also not cool though i'm sure the reason for her boredom will be explain i wonder why she is like that. my only guess is being spoiled by grandpa when she was little since before he was a working man. but good for sensei for taking the adoptive father role. oh we also see Nozomi, Kanou's mother when she was young in one of the rooms cool. |
