| It slows down after the first episode or so but yes his monologues go by really quick. The novel is written as a first person stream-of-consciousness so the rapid fire delivery of the exposition is supposed to emulate this. |

| It's one or the other for me. Either focus on the subtitles or just enjoy the animation. After awhile I realized most of the dialogue is just nonsense so I just skimmed through most of it. |
