We always should consider situation in which conflict develops, it's important.
Some conflicts lead to agreement or more / less positive results, some don't.
And it's not always a bad thing, so context really matters a lot..

Personally, I don't do well with conflict. I'm one of those that breaks down in tears when I have arguments, and competition makes me freeze up.

But, ya know, that's just me. There's no real avoiding it, at least not forever. And for some people it can be used as a healthy outlet for stress or creativity.
