| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, Kabuto Kouji is such a dick haha. At this point I'm not even sure what he thinks about Sayaka. The way his character is portrayed it looks like he hates her a lot. Didn't know that Gurren Lagann had a cameo in Mazinger Z! I figure it's because they wanted the Japanium alloy, but they could have just gone for the labs and destroyed both the labs and Mazinger. Other than that, it was a good episode. The laboratory finally added some proper defenses. And nice to see Mazinger get damaged. And Garada subs keep up the comedic quality haha: |

| Sayaka's ongoing uselessness is a testament to the fact that this is a 70s era anime. I hope she is allowed to do something decent eventually. |

| I was surprised by the boldness shown by Sayaka during the fight against Holzon V3, though as usual is defeated after a few moves, what a shame! However, even though he was a pretty dated character, the characters had a good characterization, not being strereotyped, as is the case today. But I do not understand how Koji and his comrades act when it comes to strategies, instead of acting before the enemy trying to put it down, they always find themselves unprepared. |
