| I enjoy it when arcs become serious so quickly. This episode was really mysterious until the end, this was great in my opinion! |
| It's sure a really strange case for Okita, it seems like it wasn't him who killed that innocent guy but the Sokai faction and that we have an antagonist for that arc, poor little girl though :/ |

| even if Okita probably isn't guilty, poor, poor girl... she gained so much sympathy at the top of her despair while all tied up at Yorozuya and yelling at the individual she thinks he's responsible for the loss of her family on a less serious side, tabasco cake was for a well identified certain someone at Shinsengumi, right? Someone who likes to eat yellow sauce with a small side of full dishes. Too bad, Kagura has it in his place... |

| it’s incredibly funny that hijikata thought yamazaki was outing sougo to him when yamazaki was describing what he heard sougo saying to kamiyama and shut that down real fast. rewatching and picking up on stuff i may not have paid attention to before is neat, especially since i liked this arc a lot the first time i watched it too. |
