Excellent plot twist! As they were thinking it was the end of the planned suicidal and tha the Blues had disappeared, they discovered the ultimage stage of the Blues evolution.

I thought the blue making up the walls of the cave were just molted exoskeletons. Would've made sense. Also lavos confirmed for creating the final form of the blue. This is gonna be cool.

My god, 24 episodes in, and still new characters (Texan bwoy) and new plot development, truly the mark of a great show. The design of Final Blue is superb, plus the whole ep emits a gorgeous blue green atmosphere (even in the mecha). After ep 24 I was going for "humankind now carrying B-cells through Yuuji and Marlene kids is finally able to leave in harmony with the Blue", but looks like they want to end it with a bang...

It's a boss battle. I wonder how many actually make it?

Haha I was thinking the same thing.

Just when they thought it's over, the final boss appears.

That Blue gave me a EVA vibe.

I think the only way they're getting out of this one is Yuji's b-cells..

WTF?! I thought everything was over, that they finally will live in peace! Apparently not! I hope everything works out fine-only one episode left!

The final boss has appeared. If they can get past it, maybe everything will go back to normal.

Cool design for the titanic Blue. Very mantoid in design, or perhaps scorpioid.

Convenient that the Blue are now mass merging into a single big bug (at least the ones in South America). No need for Second Earth to worry about the lack of manpower to fight them now I guess.

So humanity stopped fighting and all the blue just went and died? That means humanity can go back?

Except now there's a super bug....Earth just what do you want?

Why the fuck do we only get 2 episodes back on Earth? Why was all that shit on the space station necessary?

Literally nothing happened in this episode until the last 2 minutes. Like, they already fucking knew where the aliens moved and then they went down, asked villagers where the aliens are, then walked there.

Fucking skybeam, fucking ripoff Eva monster.

The Blue have migrated towards south africa, Marlene's theory of their task being completed and now they're going extinct is a pretty hopeful one. I guess the earth didn't want to kill all humans, just a lot of them!

But the finale episode calls for tension, and a menacing final boss Blue has appeared. I hope the team can get through this last challenge!
