| Tofu's mother is wonderful! I loved when she was checking their hips. She didn't do that to Kasumi though because she knew that she was the one from the start. And lol, his father looked like him and acted like him, that proposal was great, Tofu's too. |

| I accidentally watched a much later episode because of the ordering. I tried using the episode list in the wikia only to find it’s much more complicated than I initially thought. Seriously, there are like 3 different orders! I appreciate that they might've been reordered to reflect the manga continuity better but I still dislike it cos the quality would be all over the place. This is frustrating for me. Anyways, another ridiculous episode. Good to see Nabiki and Kasumi back in focus. They need to appear in more episodes, especially Nabiki. Tofu's mother is quite annoying. Bride Ranma was really cute ngl. It makes sense this is a filler cos canon Ranma would NEVER want to be on a wedding dress, least of all for Akane's sake! |

| I’m surprised this one is considered filler because it plays a big role in the overarching relationship between Kasumi and Tofu Sensei, but it’s not a big deal because filler or not, the episode exists and it was a great one. It looks like Tofu’s mom was ahead of the curve in 89 because of the fact she wanted Tofu’s wife to have big hips, which is definitely a desirable trait here in the future lol, and I’m ngl I would have thought Nabiki would have bigger hips than Akane but that could just be because she’s usually wearing shorts when Akane wears skirts. And speaking of Nabiki I was happy to see her have some good bits in this episode, we definitely need more of her going forward, as well as Kasumi. We also saw Ranma’s dad actually being human for once, feels like he’s been a panda for a while until now lol. I also found Tofu’s mom to be hilarious, especially the running gag where she kept trying to “join her husband” lol, and in the end I grew to like her a lot more when it was revealed she already knew Tofu liked Kasumi from the start, I had a feeling this was the case so I’m glad she wasn’t as dumb she appeared. And lastly, I’m gonna need to hear a full rendition of “Big Hips Blues” lol. And looks like the ED changed already, that surprised me since it wasn’t long ago we got new visuals for the first ED but this new one is very good too, it’s a different style but still very fitting for the show. And to follow up on my last post regarding the Blu-ray watch order, this one is episode 17 and the rest of this disc is in the original order, and it looks like I’ll be hitting the 2nd set of discs before I return to the last disc that jumped ahead, a bit confusing but I’m sure I’ll figure it out lol. |
