TOP favorite anime of all time
First, the rules: This list contains my all time favorites. It's length is ~10% of my completed list. Since this is a favorites list, not a bests, I might leave out titles I gave high ratings and include relatively low rated, because this is affected by things, not necessarily related to the anime itself. The titles are more or less arranged from most to least favorite, but I won't number the items on the list, since there are some ties and the exact places can vary based on how I momentary mood. I will include only one title per franchise.

If you think they are the best, even in their respective genre, especially if you have more than a few favorites among them, I have bad news for you. They might not all awful, but despite their popularity, rarely any is better than mediocre. Though I must highlight, that I'm not against popular anime. If you had seen my favorites above, there are quite a few that are immensely popular.
