Final: impeccable directing, really wished we got a complete story though.

How i feel after two rewatches: Better, than evangelion. Definitely must rewatch after completing Gainax's (Anno's and Kazuya's) filmography. Very nice Storyboards too, definintely ordering that tome. I absolutely fucking adore this shit. Kazuya is a genius, Khara should've gotten the liscense. Gainax's action of raising the price of FLCL in the middle of that deal proves that this isn't the best possible worlds. I should go back and tend my garden, but fuck, this is a reason enough to despair. How can i tend my garden after being shown this masterpiece? How the fuck? Is this anime even possible? how? It doesn't fit at all, Kazuya must have been hiding something.

Now. fifth rewatch: Where is 11? Should i lower everything by one?

Seventh rewatch: Gonna stop here, and rewatch again and study the script (every throwaway line has multiple fucking subtext? what? HOW? I DON"T GET HOW CAN A HUMAN WRITE THOSE DIALOUGE) btw, i just watched the English dub, it's okay. But lost all subtexts fuck, e.g. eps 1's repeating dialogue, Ninamori's thing with "Doesn't fit you" is gone, making that scene with "Nice boots, fits you" less impactful, and of course the last scene with Naota's uniform "Doesn't fit you" less tasteful. And yes the thing with Mamimi and Naota's realtionship where Ninamori said "Doesn't fit at all" don't work in the dub. I can go on, but i'll just say here. The lecture about cats and how they like to be babied and stroked is completely replaced with something else, removing it from the context of Ninamori's episdoe. Gone, just like that. After I studied the script (In japanese of course, it'll be stupid to do so in english) and the storyboard i'll write an article about it.
