New Interest Stack
Interest StacksAnimax Latin America was the affiliate for that region of the youth channel of Sony Entertainment Television. The signal for Latin America was launched on July 31, 2005, replacing the adult animation channel Locomotion. Like the other subsidiaries around the world where it is available, it broadcast anime series, and since May 2008 it began with the broadcast of live action series and movies distributed by Sony Pictures. Shows that aired over 18 years ago. If you watch these shows you're either an oldhead or have an oldhead mindset. From late 90s to early 2000s. Organic animation with a hint of depression, existentialism, cynicism, semi-realistic artstyle, fear/ embrace of technology after the economic bubble burst of Japan in 80s. This stack will show anime with broad ecologic themes. Excellent shows and movies that, despite being well-rated, got pushed far below the surface and are no longer easily visible to those who don't dive deeper into the medium. This Interest Stack is directly inspired by Digibro's "250 Anime Recommendations". Everything listed here is directly taken from the original video. This is a list of anime from the late 90's and 2000's that have a certain charm or vibe to them that I really love. I'm sure a lot of you also enjoy this sort of vibe, so hopefully this can help you find series that invoke something else you love. Enjoy! Buzz was a Spanish subscription television channel produced by AMC Networks International Iberia. Its programming focused on horror content, both in current series and movies. A collection of fantasy or otherwise speculative fiction works including fanciful worldbuilding, without the utilization of the "Game mechanics verse" trope or the "Person from our world is reincarnated here" setup. (I would have said "no Isekai" but I'm open to stranger Isekai like Escaflowne being on the list). Earthlike worlds (including purported futures/histories) are allowed if they have something fanciful and distinctive. Only one entry per series/franchise. Some of these are questionable, like Suisei no Gargantia can be argued to be fully sci-fi, but there is a feel to it that makes me include it, along with organic and archaic elements that are woven together in a way that makes this appear more fantastical than your average sci-fi. Similarly, Gankutsuou is sci-fi with advanced technology, but it's futuristic imagery is conceptualized to cohere with the elegant 19th century setting of Dumas' novel. I'm also avoiding the inclusion of more than one entry per series, so if season 1 is on here, then season 2 likely fits just as much. This list contains all those anime that have been dubbed into Latin Spanish from each available decade. |
