Really, part of the reason why I can't quite bring myself to rate this a 10, is because it doesn't stand on its own. To watch Shakugan no Shana Final you really need Shakugan no Shana and Shakugan no Shana Second, and that's probably 20 hours of show to chew through to get to this part. The payoff is well worth it, especially when the first two seasons were decent to good in their own right, but this isn't something to watch on its own.
So like yeah I have to say your review is good for what it is but I would suggest you change that part. Saying you can't give a series a 10 because it has two prior seasons worth of content to watch doesn't really make sense. I would suggest you change it to say you can't give it a 10 because a few of the show's revelations are just thrown at you like the truth given to the Flame Haze by Center Hill's words
We will join this war. Because however disagreeable it may be, what the Snake of the Festival said earlier is true. We the four Gods of the Earth have been told what truly caused the storm in the rift, the omen of great catastrophe by the Flamen Warrior Sky Heart. And that cause is Tomogara changing humans into the unstable energy known as power of existence. The world is unbalanced with every concrete existence is loses. As a counter event the storm is formed within the rift. If the God of Creation goes to the new world with the Tomogara the unstable energy will be brought back to this world and the storm shall die down. But if they cause havoc in the new world as they do in this world then eventually a return to catastrophe. We who live on this side will have no business policing what they choose to do on the other side. Still we the Four Gods of Earth will fight the Snake of the Festival, the God of Creation. Because this world, Guze and the new world in the rift are all part of the greater world. We the Four Gods of the Earth will fight against the selfish mind creating a new innocent world
Now in the series this is a sudden thing for the audience to find out but actually in the LN it is presented to the readers long before this arc so its not just kind of out of no where in the LNs. Another example is the heir of both worlds which is incredible important since its what makes the Denizens agree to the law of Xanadu but as an audience of just the anime this is the first time we even see Tis and Asiz

So the actual greater fault of season III or even all seasons actually is that the anime lacks so much relevant prior data and history that exists in the LN which we should be presented with since the history of the world is important as its what shapes the current

Hi!
I just wanted to stop by and say that I really like your style of reviewing. It's not so common these days to find someone who actually puts effort into them and doesn't just aim for the lucky seasonal upvotes. That said, I hope you won't quit or something because they don't get any recognition. I know from a personal experience that it can be heartbreaking at times, but we have to continue to make the reviewing situation a little better.

Mind if I add you?
